Gave up on Iron Fist after 6 eps, swapped over to In To the Badlands. Pretty happy with decision. Acting level is about the same, slight edge to Iron Fist cast aside from main character. Badlands has much better fight choreography, character design, and mythos. Characters have motivations that make sense. The fight choreography is some of the best I have seen in a tv series with plenty of atmosphere. One scene reminded me of Wong Kar Wai's The Grandmasters.

If you are in to martial arts epics, give Into the Badlands a try.

season 4 of the office starts with a bunch of very meh, overlong episodes. the drop off from S3 to S4 is absolutely enormous.

S2/S3 > S1 > i assume S4, but i don't care enough to rank the rest, and yeah, i also stopped after michael left

I saw Neil Brennen's 3 Mics had 5 stars so I was a bit skeptical. The name sounded familiar but I didn't know who he was.

Holy **** it was A+. Might not be everyone's cup of tea though. But I thought it was fantastic.

UK Office is my literally favourite TV show. I gave the U.S version one episode. Possible maybe probable I'd like it if I watched more episodes (the first episode is a semi-clone of the U.K version) but I found Steve Carell annoying.

they did a sequel to the uk office with ricky gervais that's on netflix. i laughed a couple times but it wasn't great

Watched the doc "Last Man on the Moon" about Gene Cernan's life and while it occasionally gets slow and sappy, overall it was a good watch for the baby boomer space geeks like myself.

It was also cool because in '91 I was hired to teach a video editing class to NASA and had unescorted access to launch/mission control building for a week and was able to walk around the mission control room that was used for the moon missions.

s4 office was during the writers strike, so why there's so many long episodes. i like it but i think that is the issue in some of them where they just go on too long

i like UK and US office for different reasons

started watching Frontier because i thought it sounded similar to Taboo and Taboo was ****ing awesome, Frontier is AIDS i would not recommend it to anyone

well not everyone is saying that. but yeah i mean those long, early episodes are killers. i remember they got pretty meh reviews at the time. i found myself doing a rewatch of the show recently and when i got to that point i just got quickly bored and lost interest fast.
