Liked the season one group more but still looking forward to the Alex Atala and Ana Ros episodes.

Great usage of well known classical music too. Vivaldi's Winter last season and Grieg this year.

Hush was pretty good. Deaf mute woman is stalked by a psychopath in her own home....very entertaining and worth a watch. Thriller-Horror 6.5/10

Moonwalkers ,with Ron Perlman and the kid from Harry Potter,

About faking the moon landing with a bunch of hippies

Terrible.

Imagine that.

No continuity,no humor, some violence, but no point or ending.

Not worth a look at all.

The show, or the movie? This determines whether I agree with you or not.

Just watched "Into the Wild" and went into it with no expectations other than I knew I'd like the music and the scenery. Really enjoyed it and surprised to even discover it was based on a true story. May be a bit slow for some, but would recommend if you enjoy Eddie Veddar music and the outdoors!

^ I put that on last night while distracted, looked up and I hadn't watched a scene in the first 20 minutes. I mean I know I pressed play but...no one's said anything yet. the setting was stunning tho, will definitely watch.

the show's on Netflix, I know the movie isn't on NF nor Amazon Instant.

I started FNL off of a post (by Yeti iirc) in OOTV saying something to the effect of 'the Taylor family is the best/most accurate depiction of internal family life in TV history".

yup. plus footbaw

If the story interests you enough to watch a documentary on the topic, try to find 'Return to the Wild'.

I can't remember if it's been mentioned here but I really enjoyed the miniseries Hatfields and McCoys.

It is a drama based around the Hatfield and McCoy family feud (true story) that took place post Civil War. It has Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton. There are only 3 episodes but each episode is like it's own movie. I binge watched it months ago and am going to watch it again.

One of my favorite movies. Another movie kind of(sorta) in the same vein that's great is The World's Fastest Indian which I believe is also on Netflix.

Last night I watched The Princess Bride for the first time and it was actually pretty good. I understand a lot more memes now too.

started the new NF original Marseille. one episode in and and the other 7 will be done by the weekend. give it a chance, the subtitles disappear after 5 minutes.

main character is the best French actor ever or something, a freak and very weird dude. also quite ugly.

got done with the first season of Friday Night Lights, now im onto the 2nd season about 5 episodes in.

hate to say it but the 2nd season has lost tons of its magic from the 1st. Also hoping they add in some new characters soon.

looking forward to finishing the series though

S2 is notoriously bad. it starts off with weird plot points, and then the writers strike hits midway through the season. don't worry, it all pretty much gets ignored for S3 onwards.

Marseilles not as great as I initially thought, still worth a try if subtitles don't bother you. they edited the thing so there's a Law and Order cliffhanger after every scene which acts as an effective anti-binge watching measure.

ah i see thanks.

im still surprised there are 5 seasons on netflix. im wondering how they can stretch it to 5 seasons even tho each season is 10 eps long. I'll stop asking questions since I don't want to spoil it for myself

Just watched the 1st ep. of Marseilles, seems pretty cool. Political intrigue, drugs, crime, etc. I've always liked that fat guy, Gerard Depardieu.

Almost done with S1 of Magic City and we're really digging it. Great characters, story, acting, etc. Plus, lots of hot chicks and tits. Good stuff.

Haven't confirmed personally, but heard:

Spoiler:
It was abruptly cancelled after season 2 without an ending/closure.

S2 can almost literally be ignored completely and you don't miss any plot points. There are maybe 2 or 3 plot lines that continue on beyond S2 but overall it's just a cluster****. Don't gauge the show on S2, just ignore it and move on. S3, 4, and 5 regain its shine and are amazing.
