I have an American Netflix account. If I log on in France, what happens?

Do I get American NF? French? Nothing?

It should be based on your IP, hence people using hola unblocker/VPNs to access different content.

iirc, France is somewhat opposed to NF, so the content may be limited? Might want to VPN elsewhere if that's the case.

Was hoping to hook up Chromecast for my Mom to use (she's renting a place outside of Nice for 6 weeks), so pretty sure a VPN is out.

I guess I could VPN to a French IP now and see what happens.

Watched The Central Park Five last night. Fascinating documentary about 5 black teenagers who were wrongly convicted of the rape and attempted murder of a white female jogger in Central Park during the late 80s. Plays out a little bit like the Shawshank Redemption in the end.

7.5/10

Be sure to watch the SNL Alec Baldwin Christmas sketch that parodies Glengarry in Santa's Workshop.

Saw Automata last night. Didn't get the best reviews but I found it pretty entertaining as far as a light sci-fi movie goes. Would recommend to anyone who likes dystopian future type stories.

The latest standup specials that I liked(at least I think they are newish,) are Eddie Pepitone In Ruins and Patton Oswalt Tragedy Plus Comedy Equals Time. The Oswalt special isn't quite as strong as his others but still worth a watch.

Out of the clear blue sky. 658 people showed up for work at Cantor Fitzgerald on 9/11, zero survived. Not much else to add except that it's one of the better 9/11 docs I've seen.

i have these vivid memories of this weird movie where weirdos kinda take over high school, so i watched "Class of Nuke Em High" yesterday... and now im wracking my brain to decide if that was the movie i used to see on cable all the time. it's killing me.

obviously it's a Troma movie, so it's horrifically bad.

Life is pretty enjoyable and seems to fly under the radar. 2 seasons but it's network so more episodes per season than HBO/AMC shows.
