private joker is like the politards in that I know they're often wrong, but I know they'd still beat me in a debate on the topic because they know more content.

Anyone watch Dolan's Cadillac? A friend said they liked it, and from the description it sounded like a good revenge movie, but I really didn't like it too much.

Is it a common theme in OOT that the "politards" are dumber than <insert some group of people>?

If so, I find that absurd. The majority of politics regs are way more intelligent and way more correct about anything economic/political/whatever than both the average person and the average OOT'er.

Disclaimer: I'm not trying to be rude or anything, and i'm unsure of the exact context. But if it's something along the lines of: democrat/republican/statist/<insert other ignorant political stance> hating on "politards" for being mostly libertarian and A/C. Then I would object.

I read the short story (Stephen King). Hard to imagine as a film. No clue why this makes me qualified to post about the movie.

Just finished watching this and wasn't impressed. The premise had potential but the execution was mediocre at best.

Just got done watching all 3 seasons of 'The IT Crowd'. I very much enjoyed it. If you like goofy British comedies then you'll probably like it. I think they pretty much nailed the IT departments of the companies I've worked for. Has a lot of the same people as were in Garth Marenghi's Darkplace. A few of the episodes are forgettable, most are above average, but some of them will have you falling out of your chair.

I just finished season 1 of this show and loved it. It's goofy and some jokes are really predictable, but the delivery of the jokes is perfect. I think if it was done in America it would be totally lame.

I've seen one episode of Leverage and really didn't like it.

Just watched the entire first season of "Dollhouse" in 2 days. Liked it a lot better than when I watched an episode here or there when it originally ran.

Different strokes I guess. I'm a huge fan of Firefly so I had high hopes for Dollhouse. We watched the first 4-5 episodes and didn't find it interesting.

Leverage isn't high brow by any means, but I do enjoy the characters.

I noticed Leverage and Lie to Me because I was looking for the BBC show Hustle, but you can only get discs for Hustle.

'Moon' was pretty awesome. Was it even released in the theaters? I'm sure I would have seen it.

Watched "This Movie Is Not Yet Rated" about the MPAA rating system. Okay movie and the story is interesting. Tons of sex scenes from various movies if you are looking for TNA.

Watxhed "Man on Wire", the doc about the guy who tightroped across the WTC, the other day which was awesome. They keep it interesting the whole 90 min by including tons of real footage of the guy's life including a couple other badass tightropes. Plus, the heistlike story of how he got it done was very cool.

Just noticed that the original "Fever Pitch" (with Colin Firth) is on watch instantly. Based on the book by Nick Hornby about his obsession with Arsenal and how it affected his life (though the movie plays up the romance which was a small bit in the book). I liked it quite a bit (can't compare it to the American remake due to allergic reaction to Jimmy Fallon).
