Well very few people will watch a TV show they don't know or at least think they will like going in, and people who don't like it won't watch it, and few will bother to rate something they haven't watched.

Mostly because of the internal ratings imo. I want netflix to know that I liked Jericho, but I only know that after I've watched. It would take something especially terrible for me to go back and rate it low.

I watched The World's Greatest Dad. Kind of an insane movie. Probably not worth watching if you have other things you want to see, but not something that I would recommend not watching.

Yep, same for me. Saw it in the theater and said "too confusing". Great statement on US foreign policy imo. The second time I watched it was after becoming a libertarian and its whole meaning was understood, and I thought "wtf, how did I not like this movie the first time?"

I wiki'd them once the movie ended. The "fued" Booker had with Conan was pretty funny to read about. Hadn't heard about it prior to reading the article.

I've had movies on my Xbox streaming and a different one on my computer.

Does anyone else have this problem? I stream it through my xbox and about 50% of the time when I start to play the movie it will go to the screen saying determining video quality for like 5 seconds and then turn black. Once it turns black the box locks up and I can't turn it off with the controller, have to do it by pressing the power button on the front of the console. Haven't figured out what is going on yet but extremely annoying.

Grunch, although I think I have posted once in this thread already.

Here is a list of things I think are worth watching instantly:

The Last Dragon
The Man with Two Brains
The Power of Myth
What's Up, Tiger Lilly?
The Princess Bride
The Big Lebowski
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Shrink
MST3K: everything they ever made that you can find
The Fisher King
Monty Python's Flying Circus, the entire series, and every offshoot of it
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, original 1981 series
Pee Wee's Big Adventure (honestly a fantastic movie, Tim Burton directed it you know)

There are a bunch of good things to watch, but if you haven't seen those, it's a good start.

Just to add a couple:

Conan the Destroyer and Red Sonja are both on instant watch right now
I am not sure if Conan the Barbarian is still (Arnold making funny noises is always good)

Memento is on (im always iffy on this one)

and Party Down is a really solid show from Starz which is also on

sry if they have been mentioned before

If Dead Snow was in English I would definitely watch it:

Quote:
A group of Norwegian friends get the scariest history lesson of their lives during a weekend getaway to the snowy town of Øksfjord, where the party is interrupted by throngs of Nazi zombies who once occupied the area. Armed with a machine-gun-equipped snowmobile, the gang fights for survival in director Tommy Wirkola's quirky horror, shot on location in the mountains of Norway.
