Now that I have a PS3, I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to renew my XBox Live subscription that just expired. I don't play much Modern Warfare or Halo anymore. Usually it's just WoW. And when GoW III comes out, that will take all my time. So really all the 360 does is stream Netflix...

Exactly, with the PS3 streaming for free, I don't know if I need the 360 - at least when I'm not actively involved in online gaming. The only catch is that the 360 is in my bedroom and the PS3 is in my living room. So I'm limited by where I can stream, but it's not a big deal.

The PS3 is on wireless, but the quality has been top-notch.

Its been a week and I have already exhausted the watch instantly catalog. They really need unlimited streaming of the entire catalog minus new releases or something for $100/month and be done with it.

This is probably true but considering I watch so little TV outside of sports basically everything they have on there is new to me so I really like it. Purchasing Netflix basically has meant that when I'm not sleeping/at work I am within 15 feet of my PS3.

TV isn't super good selection, but just off the top of my head they have seasons from Lost, The Office, Weeds, Brotherhood, Dexter, etc. Definitely some things worth watching on the TV side.

Not always a good thing when you're part way through a season and it suddenly isn't available any more and you have to wait on the discs.

then recommend movies. if you aren't into classics and are not a film noob, there are not a whole lot of good films that you don't already own on netflix instant watch.
