still a lot cheaper to get WI & 3 discs at a time and just have discs malied to you for Sopranos or whatever, as opposed to paying for cable

"A Prophet" is available right now and I watched it today. Incredible French movie about a young French Arab kid who goes to prison and gets involved with the Corsican mafia. It's 2 hours 40 minutes long but completely engrossing and one of the best movies I have seen recently.

Eerie indiana is up. It's a nice blast from the past for me. I used to get pretty excited about this show in my youth.

I feel the same way.

Liked it when they stopped trying to showcase the "range" of an actress w/o much range and became more of an ensemble drama. Thought the ending was poorly done and didn't fit the rest of the series.

Some movies that I have watched recently:

-a prophet- A+, great prison movie on an arab kid who starts to run with the coriscan mob.

-restrepo- war documentary on an incredibly dangerous valley in afghanistan. very good.

-touching the void- adventure docu-drama on a mountaineering disaster in peru. very good. (note: i have a special love for these types of movies as i like to climb/hike/do adventure ********)

-ip man- enjoyable martial arts/kung fu movie on the founder of wing chun (loosely based obviously).

-collapse- documentary on the basic premise that our world is going to go to **** when oil reserves are used. i thought this guy was a bit of a conspiracy theorist but the basic theory is interesting to think about.

exit through the gift shop- doc on street artists and helms around the question of 'what is art?' very good and the doc seems like a level.

I was wondering the same thing, I think they want to force us to get Starz or purchase the dvd in a year. You could always check when it is re-running on Starz and then tune in with starzplay live channel on netflix.com

Those movies are fun for a laugh and a time killer when you don't wanna watch anything serious.

I loved this show, but apparently I was one of only about a dozen viewers in America. It was hilarious at times. Just about everything out of Ray Wise's (the Devil) mouth is gold.

Mcbrag - I'm excited to check it out! Unfortunately, my recent Netflix time has been devoted to catching up on Jersey Shore Season 2...

I'm not sure what the general consensus is on JS2... and I really enjoyed JS1 and was hoping for some epic ******ation... but this just feels like a retread of JS1 in a different locale (perhaps being in Italy will spice it up).

Maybe I had too high expectations, and yes, it was pretty awesome to see
Spoiler:
Sammi land a haymaker on JWow, too bad JWow didn't go ******* on her
, but that was about the only worthwhile thing I've seen - I'm only on episode 6 or something, so maybe it gets better... unsure of whether to forge ahead.
