fantastic. three may be a little short but I can count on my fingers the number of shows that maintained quality past season 5, especially the season long storyline format and not a collection of one-off episodes

Yeah, if shows are getting 5 really good to great season they are in goat tiers, 3 really good to great seasons gets you into top 25 all time area. Rome, deadwood, hannibal, terriers, freaks and geeks didnt get past 3 seasons and these were great great shows. I am sure there are good lesser shows I am forgetting.

Love Death Robots is very similar to Animatrix to me. Pretty good but I haven't seen all of the shorts yet.

I really liked this - although there was similar side drama as Free Solo (girl trouble), I felt this got a lot more into the technical details. And although Dawn Wall is a far more difficult route up El Capitan, it really underscores how crazy of an idea it is to try an ascent without ropes.

Meru is on Amazon and another really good one, though I tended to like the El Cap-focused climbs more than the Himalayas.

SO maybe im shooting my load super early and surprised it has only been mentioned once, but IM ONLY HALFWAY THROUGH THE FIRST EPISODE

The madeline mcann ture crime doc seems good, well polished, good story that i remember but barely dont know all the details. the reason im excited is because a LOT of true crime shows the past year have been super poor

idk how many eps there are but I ope its solid throughout. will say more once im 3-4 eps in

If you don't know anything about it, it's fascinating. Pretty much everybody living in Europe knows all about it and a good lot in America. So it's nothing new to them.

I think it got boring during the last couple of episodes but I enjoyed it overall. But again, I didn't follow the story closely when it was big.

Also wan to say how great american crime story season 1 was, which was excellent, I watched season 2 ep 1 a few weeks ago and thought it was super super bland. maybe its cuase its not the court docu drama that I was hoping it would be, much like s1

It was directed by Jeff Tremaine of Jackass. So, it was mostly humorous. It was entertaining, but I didn't find it very substantive. Runs under 2 hours. Must now hold the record for fastest squirting chick on screen in a non-porn movie.

I've always wanted to read the book. Haven't gotten around to it yet.
