Watched it. I'm not so sure that Darren Brown executed quite the psychological feat he claims. "I don't like immigrants and I feel my race is superior" isn't exactly the same thing as "I wouldn't mind watching my new friend shoot one of them in the face for no reason whatsoever."

The ending is pretty great, though.

Daredevil Season 3- I never finished season 2 but just watched the finale and then the 1st 3 of the new season. Its pretty good, except for Foggy annoying the crap out of me like always, he will always be Lenny from "The Butterfly Effect" to me.

And of course the fighting a dozen guys with guns and winning type stuff.

The Night Comes for Us breaks the Netflix Original curse real ****ing hard. Yes, the plot makes very little sense. There's a major character whose motivations are simply not explained! The ending is an overwrought disaster of 1990s-style John Woo knockoff bull**** without even the good sense to go fully over the top and have doves.

However, the movie literally has like a solid fifth of its runtime devoted to machete fights, and I'm distinguishing the machete fights from the fistfights, knifefights, gunfights, and piece of wood with a nail in it fights that take up the majority of the rest of the film.

This is a movie that has the hero beat two henchmen to death with billiard balls using two entirely distinct and unique billiard ball murder methods. So yes, it is bizarre that the movie inexplicably pauses to provide the Lotus rank of two characters without previously introducing what the **** that means or ever mentioning it again. I don't care.

Thru 6 episodes of Daredevil Season 3 and its really good!

Luke cage canceled. Yikes.

Is the second season of Luke Cage any good? I never got around to watching it.

Didnt finish season 2 and enjoying season3 of dd.
I still think the strength of season 1 was the cool broke ass law office story line that balanced the super hero stuff.

I never got through the first season of Luke cage, so I’m not surprised. I even got through the first season of iron fist...

Glad I'm not the only one that noticed this, I have to do some major back-tracking at times to figure what show is being discusses or what the acronym used stands for

Just finished all of the Last Chance U episodes. Pretty entertaining. I'll definitely be watching future seasons. Lots of characters to hate throughout all 3 seasons, and a few to root for. The head coaches are just horrible people though.

Wild Wild Country

Anyone watch The Romanoffs (Amazon Prime)? Had high hopes with Weiner as showrunner. It's an anthology show. I liked the first episode (despite the bizarre ending), didn't like the second episode much, and kind of hated the third episode. I'll give it another episode or two.

i liked episode 1, didn't like episode 2 as much, but i loved episode 3.

Yeah I figured some people would love the third ep. Didn't do it for me.

'Atypical' Renewed For Season 3

I haven't watched Season 2 yet, any good? 1st was ok to me.

Not as good as the first season. It's just borderline watchable imo. But I completely loathe both the mother as a character and find the actress playing her to be god awful, and that was my main problem with season 2. Too much of her.

But you gotta love the topless scenes with her from Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Miami Blues right? lol

BTW Miami Blues with Alec Baldwin 1990, is a good movie. I love Fred Ward's character also.

Did people in here like The Man in the High Castle?

I watched season 1 and was lukewarm on it. The concept kept me going more than the actual story I think. The end of season 1 got a bit too unrealistic for me, and haven't made an attempt at season 2.

I watched the first episode and was shocked at how poor the acting and dialogue were. Pretty disappointing given I feel like this show could have been amazing given its premise. Great premise in the wrong hands, basically, was the impression I got.

I binged the first two seasons, totally forgot the show ever existed, was surprised a third season was made, binged the third season, and am ready to forget the show again.

After three seasons, the show has accomplished the equivalent of about a 5 episode arc from Lost.

just googled them, maybe that was top shelf back in the 80s, but I give it a big "meh"

Watched the 1st 2 of "Bodyguard". It's British, which I usually don't care for. I hate how they use ma'am every other word and even worse how it sounds like they are saying Mom.

I do like how they say **** off and Piss off when they want you to go away. lol

It's good so far but I saw a couple of reviews that say the ending sucks, so that will be disappointing. It's only 6 episodes tho.

Bodyguard's final episode is the most watched episode of a drama since British records began. Viewing figures ~equivalent per capita to those for SuperBowl in U.S.

The Surrounding Game US Netflix 2018

Never seen the game Go before but it looks pretty awesome after watching this. The documentary follows a couple of American guys who are in the Go game community.

Some Asian countries are crazy extreme in their hard work and commitment to things. Pretty shocking to see how they accept sending kids to train literally all day and not have any other schooling. I really appreciate how someone could dedicate their lives to something so fully and at such a young age. I think they take it too far but I'm not really sure it's a bad thing if they are chasing their dream.
