The jury's out on season 5 for me as I haven't seen it all yet and wasn't impressed by the first couple of episodes (though it has become better). But yeah the show has had an upward trajectory through season 4.

BoJack is a hack of an actor and always has been. So it was perfectly within character to sound that way.

It was an interesting way to see BoJack attempt to come to terms with his mother's death. The end of the episode was really annoying though.
FWIW applesauce's quote sounds like something bojack might say to criticize bojack. So he could very well be "levelling". Or I'm reading way too much into it.

Didn't realize there was a second season of American Vandal. What an amazing show.

Had the exact opposite reaction to the first show - David Spade was excellent and worked well with Norm Mcdonald. Second episode wasn't as strong (with Drew Barrymore), but it's worth a view: if you like Norm's type of humor, you'll enjoy it.

I ended up watching All The Boys just so I could go back afterwards and look at the spoilers discussion and comparison to Sierra. Yes I possibly do have too much time on my hands. Pretty much agree with everything that was said. All The Boys was much, much better for all the reasons previously listed.

I think this is well said. It's one of the reasons that I really enjoyed watching Ozark. The show felt well paced.

It feels like the first 2 seasons of Ozark offer as much payoff as the first 5 seasons of Game of Thrones.

"Wish I was here" was a 6/10. Stars Zach Braff who also directed and I think co-wrote. It's a sort of emo/comedy like in "Garden State" just not as good.

It's worth watching and has a few cameo appearances (I won't spoil) that just made me smile.

Yeah I don't get it the sort of people who love Bojack tend to have otherwise good taste but the first season just seemed like reheated and tamer Duckman, with better animation and a horse instead of a duck.

Season 1 is much more "Cram every single joke you can think of into the next 20 minutes" than the later seasons. It makes the show have surprisingly little heart (though it's still very very funny) considering what comes in the next 4 seasons.

I had never heard of this guy before but these specials are excellent!! Love how he mixes the comedy and the tragedy. But it’s much, much funnier then most specials that do the same.

Duckman and Ren and Stimpy are my two favorite cartoons, but I couldn't make it past the first episode of Bojack. Worth trying again?

I enjoyed season 1 and was def looking forward to season 2. I made it through, but it was hard.

Spoiler:
I can't stand the mother character (and the god awful acting is cringe worthy), it was tolerable in season 1 because I felt she was in it way less or maybe its just because it was easy to hate her, but its unbearable in season 2 because I guess we are supposed to be rooting for her or feeling sympathy for her, but its just awful. I wish she would have gotten hit by a bus in ep 1 and everyone just forgot about her, then it might have been watchable.

Yeah, idk I do feel like we're meant to hate her and find her annoying despite some of the more sympathetic storylines about her. Plus her face never seems to move so she's a little disconcerting to watch. I can't stand her either fwiw but I still enjoy the show.

Depending on what you like, 100% it's an incredibly complex and interesting show, and the pilot (like most shows) doesn't show off it's true potential

Do we get closure for the events of the first season? Judging from the trailer and episode list, we don't. That's what I was expecting/hoping from season 2, not a totally new storyline. Still looks good though, will watch it eventually.

I loved Atypical season 1, and 2 was pretty good too, I think. I don't have a problem with any of the characters, really. It's mostly lighthearted and doesn't drag much. The main guy in it has a thriller on Netflix called 'Heartthrob' where he plays a stalker boyfriend. It's a pretty good flick, worth a watch.

That guy was fantastic. His comedy has to be hard to pull off, but he does it and keeps it funny. Idk why I never heard of him before either.

I'll give you hint, It was the person whose cast was part of the reason she wasn't initially considered, but the cast actually shows up on different limbs in different scenes.

The key is to have zero expectations, and then you'll never be disappointed.
