American Vandal s2

Spoiler:
First couple episodes I thought weren’t as good as first season. Then ep3 they introduced DeMarcus Tillman, goat. Do yourself a favor and pause screen everytime they show Sir Fuxalot social media post.

Watched Lords and Ladles S1E1 last night. Was kind of interesting, fun concept, and v soothing to have in the background as I did the crossword. If you run out of other food shows and like Irish accents...

They are really good.
Saw Sloss at The Fringe this summer and last summer. He was fantastic both times.

Saw the first few episodes. A bunch of minor characters from last season become major characters in this season. So far, I'm not particularly impressed but I'm willing to give it a chance.

Haha, I watched the first two eps before bed last night and mostly agree, but it sounds like I have a lot to look forward to.

The detail on the social media stuff they create is awesome. The screenshot of Peter's gmail account (with gchats from season 1 characters and all the emails he got about the show), the email he got from Netflix, they're pretty good.

I think my favorite was kinda random - one of The Turd Burglar's Instagram posts saying "I'm going to strike tomorrow" or something and one of the comments just says "dangit"

Episode 1 of Norm Macdonald with David Spade. David Spade was hilarious, I had no idea he was that funny.

It was great to see two comedic legends doing comedy. Plus some douchebag I don't know who he was but I'd like to punch him right in the ****ing face.

David Spade isn't so bad once you get to know him.

Watched a few episodes of Tales by Light - it's a show that follows photographers around shooting various stuff, usually nature, and is kinda Planet Earth-y without the "learn more about animals" aspect. The first episode in particular has some incredible footage of humpback whales, and in a way it's kinda cooler to see the photographer interacting in the environment than it is to just see what their camera sees.

But what most inspired me to post about it here is a hilariously gif-able image of the grizzly-salmon relationship in an Alaska river.

LOL that poor fish (if you click the image, it will load straight on imgur instead of 2+2's absurdly slow image cache)

Holy ****. Bojack S5E6 "Free Churro" is one of the most incredible half hours of television I've ever seen.

If Arnett doesn't win an Emmy for that episode, he never will.

"Hip-Hop Evolution" is really fantastic. Tells the story of how hip hop/rap was created. 5 episodes and ends with gangsta rap which is fabulous that they didn't go past that time period cause this **** nowadays is terrible.

Great interviews also!! Highly recommended if you are a fan of music history.

To all the BoJack fans.....did you always think it was great, or did it get a lot better. Cuz I watched season 1 and 2 when they came out and it was entertaining, but not good enough that ive carved out time to keep watching it amidst all the other great TV thats available.

I'm in the camp that it's getting better every season and require to get used to the universe like Rick and morty.

No, it was terrible. It felt like an NYU student's self-indulgent spoken word performance at open mic night.

Season 1 was okay. Nothing special, but not bad either. Seasons 2-4 were excellent.

The jury's out on season 5 for me as I haven't seen it all yet and wasn't impressed by the first couple of episodes (though it has become better). But yeah the show has had an upward trajectory through season 4.

BoJack is a hack of an actor and always has been. So it was perfectly within character to sound that way.

It was an interesting way to see BoJack attempt to come to terms with his mother's death. The end of the episode was really annoying though.

Just finished S5 and really liked it as a whole.

Diane felt a bit off all season though, and that was kind of a bummer seeing as she's been one of my favorite characters through the first 4 seasons.

Todd's arc also came out of nowhere as well, though his slapstick filled date to his girlfriend's parents house was a lot of fun.

Just finished watching it myself. Really liked it.

Agree with you on Diane. Seems that they really didn't know what to do with her after season 4. So she doesn't really part of any specific arc. Instead she just bounces around them, playing a small role in each of them.

The show isn't really much of a comedy anymore. It still has funny moments and episodes but it's more of a drama with comedic elements than a comedy with dramatic elements whereas it felt like the opposite in the earlier seasons.

I liked Atypical season 1 ok, not great but watchable and not without its clumsy charms. I quit on season 2 halfway thru ep 1, just didn't care and was wincing at every awful line of dialogue, nope.

ugh, the first ep of norm mcdonald show was bad, I dunno what you guys are going on about. I think I laughed once, and his sidekick is annoying. Figured I'd go one more ep since I like norm, but when I saw the guest was that dude from Mask I turned it off.
