If you are at all thinking about watching the crime scene on the cecil hotel, do yourself a huuuuge favor and just go watch one of the bazillion youtube videos on the "mystery" and save yourself about 4 hours. It's a ****ing awful boring waste of time.

I had read good things about The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann and got about 1/3rd of the way through the 2nd of 8 hour long episodes and quit because it was going nowhere. I should read the wiki so I can just remove it from my queue.

S5 hasn’t been released yet and is expected to be the series finale. It is in Italian so you’d need to watch with subs yes. I personally don’t believe the quality of s1-4 drops at all. It’s on HBO.

Behind Her Eyes is a some sort of weird art project anti-drama where the show is shot and scored like a dark psychological thriller with disconcerting flashbacks and held shots of random objects, but the actual plot of the show is the most mundane **** ever. (I've watched 2 episodes, it may change, I'm not going to find out lol)

Like there's nothing wrong with having a relatable everyman as your protagonist, but "our hero forgot to ask for a day off in advance, will she call in sick when she's not sick?" is maybe a little TOO relatable of a problem for being a big part of the 2nd episode in a 6 episode show.

It's a Sin HBOMax five episode mini-series about the AIDS epidemic in the UK. Two episodes in and it is great but I feel confident this is going to be a soul crusher at the end. 8.9 on IMDB and that is with the anti gay crowd giving it 1's.

Watched the first ep of Lupin. Really enjoyed it. Very well done and had the feel of a big budget film. Not sure how it will hold up over several episodes but definitely will keep watching.

subs? yes. it is an italian show.
3 seasons longer than it should've been? idk about that. I think season 1,2,4 = amazing. Season 3 was good. I have heard some 'mericans complain about s2+ on this forum though.

I see both seasons of The Knick are now on HBO Max. Was originally on Cinemax, didn't find much of an audience in spite of great reviews and an amazing performance by Clive Owen. Anyway, great show.

was able to watch 3 eps of deadwood in 24 hrs. wanted to see first couple to see if I can buy in as hard as other HBO shows.

ya it seems pretty good, characters are pretty decent especially al, timotphys character and bill h. I assume it getts better from here so looking forward ot watchingg a few more and hope to have season 1 done by end of next week
