We should probably distinguish between bad performances and performances where the acting was at least OK but the character simply wasn't given anything to work with.

Just crushed 5 eps of Mindhunter s2

It is absolutely one of my fav shows ever, Fincher was already elite but this just propels him into another category imo

Speaking of bad acting, when it comes to male actors I had always thought mark Wahlberg was terrible but I've seen a few of his movies again recently and I've reversed my opinion. He was actually quite good in Boogie Nights and also in the Departed and Three Kings. His range is limited but he's good at what he does.

Anna Gunn herself couldn't understand all the hate for skylar, so she may have performed her roll well by accident, somehow. Or her character wasn't meant to be as annoying as it was, but maybe it worked out for the better anyways. That's what I always felt anyways. It's confusing.

Jlo was pretty good in that clooney movie, I thought.

There was one actress who I thought was good in the OC, but really bad in everything else I've seen. Marissa Cooper.
