i got netflix based on this thread an am really enjoying it. pretty sick how quickly they can get the movies to you. watch instantly is pretty good too - not a ton of stuff i want to watch, but enough that it's a nice perk.

I got started on Weeds 1&2 and watched all of the Friday Night Lights (which was actually very good).

I watch via Samsung Blu-Ray player on my HDTV.

Netflix has added an RSS feed for new movies to Watch Instantly when they upgraded to Firefox

I have Netflix unlimited 1-out only. To upgrade to Blu-Ray is I believe a $2 surcharge. Does that $2 remain constant no matter how many discs your plan is or does it scale?

I have the 2 at a time blue ray and it costs 18.01.

This is excellent, thanks. They've really seemed to up the quality of shows on Watch Instantly. I was really excited when it launched, but that quickly faded when I realized there was so much crap (they've always had decent documentaries, though). Now, I can easily find something worth watching. And it's kind of silly, since it's not like my computer is even out of reach, but browsing on the 360 is awesome.

Netflix streaming is coming to the PS3
You will have to use a special DVD, but it will work. Sounds like it is a work around on the 360's "exclusive" deal.

Pretty much every '80s sex comedy (and by "every", I mean like 5) is on there. Private Lessons, Private School, Private Resort...

In that vein, if you ever find yourself in quick need of a chubby chick to jack it to, go to American Pie: The Naked Mile. The scene is close to the beginning. I would assume there are more conventionally hot girls naked later in the flick.

Hey, has anyone actually used the PS3+disc to watch instantly? Had a couple of quick questions:

- Is the interface generally easy to use?
- Can you browse movies not in your queue?
- What are the wait times like for streaming normal def? HD, if available?

I love this feature of Netflix. There are "Redbox" kiosks around town here where you can rent a movie from a vending machine for 1 dollar a day but I hate them. I spent a whole month's worth of netflix subscription on forgetting to return a movie. I'll never use redbox again but i have been watching the hell out of netflix instant.

WRT the PS3 disc, I have it and noticed that not all of the movies in my "watch instantly" queue are available for me to watch via the PS3. In fact, a lot of them arent, wtf is going on here.

A quick example is My Cousin Vinny, that is available to watch instantly on the netflix site, but I can't watch it on my PS3 afaik. This was a real buzzkill as for some reason I had an intense urge to watch this classic comedy the day my disc arrived in the mail.
