Jj peaked in the first 5 episodes of s1. I think I'll pass on s2 unless I suffer insomnia.

Probably many have posted, but here it goes again. Just finished S03 of Daredevil and it has to be the best of the three seasons. Really enjoyed it.

Ozark on the other hand... The story is good but the actors are so off, simply put not catchy. Will probably finish the season at some point, but have other priorities at the moment in terms of series.

Edit: almost forgot, Narcos S03 OMFG!!! That is a must watch!

I’m in ep 5. Hard to compare to earlier seasons Bc I’ve watched them on release and no rewatch but this season is excellent so far.

Has anybody watched Dogs yet? Worth a watch or just for dog lovers?

Its... weird.

The first episode focuses on helper dogs that are trained to recognize seizures in kids with epilepsy.

The majority of the episode is really focused on the families with epilepsy and less on the dogs and their training or anything you would expect a series called dogs to focus on.

My gf was watching Dogs. The next (I think) episode is about a Syrian refugee in Germany trying to get his Siberian Husky out of Syria to join him. I wasn't into the first episode (seizure dogs) so much, I enjoyed the second one more.

Ugh going to go around introducing myself as Uhtred son of Uhtred for the next few weeks just because I like the way it sounds.

The Last Kingdom might be the most underrated show on netflix

I've been enjoying the hell out of the first season (of The Last Kingdom). It's like GoT but with 1/5th the characters and moves 5x as fast. And a lot less dark, more fun.

It builds slowly, then people start dying. Watch until it gets darker, imo.

Edit: Also, I had given up until this thread convinced me to must watch....

I watched about 15 minutes - it just had the vibe of the same story, same style but with different characters in a different location. Why is this season better?

I really enjoyed season 3 of The Last Kingdom. The shows been covered here so here's a brief history:

Uhtred the Bold was an Ealdorman (later Earl) who lived in the 1000's AD. His father was Waltheof I. Nobody knows of his grandfather or great grandfather. But an Uhtred signed as a witness to charters for 3 different Saxon kings in roughly the 900's. A charter was a royal gift of large amounts of land and Uhtred was trusted apparently by 3 generations of kings to witness the signing of these contracts.

The last Kingdom takes off where the Vikings left off. The main character is Uhtred. His character was real but his exploits were unknown so fictionalized. A Saxon history is weaved around this character Uhtred as all the other main characters in the Last Kingdom were real people who's histories are somewhat known.

The last Kingdom is excellent.
