Episode 4 of An Hour to Save Your Life was the most intense viewing experience of my entire life. Truly incredible. No need to watch the episodes in order.
Warning: extremely graphic footage of medical care.

The Staircase was great, I saw it about 4-5 years ago. I really can't decide if the defendant is guilty or not. It seemed like the main argument of the prosecution was "gee whiz that's a lot of blood, so she must've been murdered."
Unlike The Jinx in which I was like "lol he totally did all those murders obv."
This is a three-apart Netflix doc on the Paris terrorist attacks of 11/3/15.
The first part is about the bombing attack on the football stadium and the shootings at the various cafes.
The second part is about the attack on Club Bataclan where American band Eagles of Death Metal were playing.
The third part is about the hostage situation at Club Bataclan and how the victims and SWAT team members miraculously survived 2 suicide bombs going off in a narrow hallway as the area where the hostages were was breached by police.
This is mostly an interview program - with survivors, police, firefighters, and politicians including the Mayor of Paris and the then-President of France.
This is absolutely harrowing and heart-breaking, but in the end, a beautiful, life-affirming meditation on humanity and what binds us all together. In an oh-so-French way. The survivors are amazingly profound and dignified. The firefighters and SWAT team leader and other police who all admit they were overwhelmed and scared but proud that they got the job done, are just as moving.
I started The Rain, an 8 episode first season with a post apocalyptic storyline. Cliffs are: A teenage girl and her brother are put into a doomsday bunker by their parents after a deadly virus spreads from thunderstorms/rain pouring down. They stay in the bunker for 5 years and come out to find the world a completely different place.
I'm only an episode in but I dig it. If you like post apocs, this might be a quick watch. It's dubbed in English.
