Making a murderer. Best thing I've ever watched on Netflix. Just sat around the entire day and watched it all.

I don't like superhero stuff much but Jessica jones is really good. She's super hot and tennant is obviously incredible.

I watched About Time; a Richard Curtis film. It's so bad it's unreal.

It was so infuriating to watch but also enjoyable to watch at the same time. Internets own boy is much the same except more infuriating.

Spoiler:
I was left with the impression I don't know what happened. Wouldn't surprise me if Steven did it by himself, Steven and the nephew did it, or something entirely different happened.

What was eye opening to me, and I always knew this but just hadn't seen it in action before, is just how under represented poor people are and add that to the intellectual deficiencies of these people, they just don't stand a chance.

The nephew's first court appointed attorney needs to be disbarred.

Making a Murderer

Spoiler:
There's no chance in hell that the woman was killed in either the trailer or the garage. There's no freaking way DNA evidence is not all over if that happens. 100% the blood was tampered with and hence planted. The license plate was called in by the cop so 100% police moved the car. .1% tops that either Stephen or the kid had anything to do with the murder.

I think the ex-boyfriend did it. There were the deleted phone messages. He had the password. Guessed it? lol. He was the stalker and he deleted the threatening voicemail messages. He made her give him the password. He killed her at some point after she left the junk yard. Cops found the car. His involvement in the search, his access to the crime scene after it was supposed to be sealed off, and the cops and DA horrific and corrupt investigation explains everything. Either that or someone else in a similar relationship, like if the roommate was really more than a roommate. Or some chance it was a suicide. That was a weird clip where she had done a recording of herself and talked about dying young.

Spoiler:
the guy who started the search party said of course he'd search the avrey yard because he knew he was shady. yeah you knew you could pin some evidence on this guy and the dirty cops would find a way to seal the deal because he also knew the cops had it in for steve bec of his celebrity.

and the prosecutor citing this case among the list of favors he did for the city in that private correspondence... dude he must have prosecuted a thousand cases, what was so special about this case in his private opinion? some shady bull**** is what

and like... he has a car crusher. you're saying he scrubbed his house so perfectly but he didn't crush the car? they would never have a reason to come into the house if the car wasn't there. and it was covered with like, branches? you're telling us this guy PROFESSIONALLY cleaned the murder scene so that his dna is found but not the victim's.. but didn't crush a car, smth that would be so simple and would take a matter of minutes, he placed some branches on top of it???

Yeah, the car is a good point. The woman is supposedly killed on site and all DNA removed where she's killed, but the car is just left there when they could crush, burn, dismantle it? With her blood still in the back and with (lol) his blood still there too uncleaned?

It's not .1%. It's .0000001% chance. C'mon Obama - time for a couple pardons.

The part at the end with BRENDAN'S INVESTEGATOR crying and reading his statement about how the whole family is the spawn of Satan was beyond bizarre.

There's a pretty extensive OOTV thread on "Making a Murderer" in case you are curious.

Spoiler:
While the chances are miniscule that the murder happened the way police said it did, Avery could still have been involved, with various events taking place off-site. Unfortunately the police screwed everything up so bad that we'll likely never get the true sequence of events.

Pony is slow. Maybe I will. I never venture in there because the GoT book, show, spoiler nonsense makes that place seem pretty awful.

GoT has been exiled to its own subforum to prevent this type of thing. There is no harm in venturing into ootv, very good forum.

I thought about this for a bit and really doubt it, but if it did happen that way, how sick would it be if Stephen followed her and killed her by her car and then the cops, not even suspecting Stephen did it, moved the car to the Avery lot to frame him for a mysterious murder/suicide?

I guess I could move it back to .1%, but still can't see Stephen being able to pull off those phone calls with his GF or any legit physical evidence putting Stephen in the RAV4. Also, if there were really deleted voicemail messages, that's really incriminating and no way Stephen did that. The police deleting stalker messages so as not to confuse the jury?

imo this thread shouldn't be for in-depth discussion of tv shows, especially critically acclaimed ones that everyone is talking about, where the less you know going in the better.

everyone knows making a murderer is great, go watch it all, then if you feel the need to discuss, there is a dedicated thread. ditto stuff like bloodline, narcos, house of cards, etc.
