Z Nation is pretty entertaining. You have to suspend disbelief but I think that's expected in a zombie show. The characters are much more like able than walking dead.

I enjoyed it much more than I expected I would. It's worth a watch.

Just finished S1 of Peaky Blinders. I didn't like it at first, but found myself pretty well invested by the end. Plenty of pros and a few cons about the show, but Im looking forward to starting S2.

Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson

I'm a fan of Hunter S Thompson and it's a decent documentary however it is a little long. Didn't realize there was so much video of him.

This isn't my type of humor at all. I don't think I laughed once during the movie. Different strokes.

Peep Show is outstanding. I have it a close 2nd behind Seinfeld.

I don't know, I don't watch comedies that frequently. Very difficult for a movie to make me laugh out loud on the first viewing (I'll give a polite chuckle now and then). Television on the other hand does make me genuinely laugh; something to do with being more familiar with the characters and situations. Seinfeld, Arrested Development, then dramas like Sopranos and Buffy which had comedic elements all have made me laugh a lot. My biggest laugh ever came from 30 Rock (on Netflix AFAIK!), an S1 episode where they show outtakes of Baldwin's character trying to film a corporate video. Literally soaked my arm with tears.

The point being, I'm not a humorless douche. I just dislike the type of humor in mainstream comedic movies. Especially "lol they're drunk and on drugs and fat".

The answer to your question as of right now is Burn After Reading.

The zombies are faster and there is comic relief with the Northern Lights segments.

S1 E5 "Jack-Tor"

(Yes, it's on Netflix streaming.)

No tears, but was pretty funny.

Spoiler:
"That was fun you guys. It didn't feel like five days, did it?"

Jenna using her sexuality on Jack's "boss" was also hilarious.

Slightly late on this but...I thought WoWS was terrible. It was straight up boring for the first hour and ten minutes. I'll never know if it got any better because as my wife put it, "that's an hour of my life I'll never get back". I thought it was over two hours in when we paused and if so I'd have finished but nahhhh.

The six episode series clocks in at about 180 minutes, and the film, at 107 minutes, feels truncated and rushed comparatively. Both follow these hilarious gents as they review restaurants in the English countryside, but with those seventy-so minutes edited out, much of the nuance and poignancy is lost—the tone shifts from somber (but funny), to seemingly desperate for laughs. The film does often get those laughs (Coogan and Brydon, in their largely improvised conversations, are very humorous), but it fails to really make much impact beyond providing entertainment. The more melancholy scenes retained from the television series often feel tacked-on, and the transition between jokes and sentiment clunky, with quiet moments and breathing time largely cut out.

Been watching How the States Got Their Shapes season 1. History Channel mini-series that goes over the historical reasons why the U.S. states have the borders they do (and how they may have changed over time).

Sounds boring at face value but a lot of the stuff they talk about is pretty interesting.

I saw one episode. The stuff they talk about is interesting, but the show is pretty poorly executed. The main guy is not especially good. They milk it for for time way too much.
