Just watched and thought it was especially good. It cool to see how such a great movie can be made with nothing more than good dialogue...no fancy sets or effects.

I never really watched any series, so I gave FireFly a shot.

show was canceled after S1 but they produced a movie that should be a must watch if u liked the show. The Movie was called Serenity iirc.

Never saw Almost Famous, never will.

It did get cancelled and it was out of the blue. Also I'm not sure how Netflix shows them but fox aired them out of order, partially because they wanted it to fail/hated joss whedon.

Despite the douchiness of the OP it is a great movie. I can see where it would get lost on people under 30 though who have no idea what the world was like before the internet or cell phones.

I'm actually 30 years old though. Had no interest in it back then, don't now. I think I'll watch 12 angry men tonight and then my usual family guy marathoning until I fall asleep.

I will second (or third?) this recommendation. Almost Famous is really a fantastic movie.

almost famous is a shoo-in for my top-50 movies of all time, and it could possibly squeeze in to the top-20 list.
