Just watched and thought it was especially good. It cool to see how such a great movie can be made with nothing more than good dialogue...no fancy sets or effects.

Spoiler:
I think I liked it so much because I was a juror on a DUI case and everyone said not guilty except for me. By going over all the evidence again, I slowly go the other jurors to see the "truth". Similar to the movie there was an easy to flip juror and one that held out and almost refused to vote guilty.

I never really watched any series, so I gave FireFly a shot.

Spoiler:

Did this show get cancelled out of the blue or something? The last episode did not feel like it should have been the last episode at all.

its by far Camerons best work, depicts the time period well and its a well performed cast. Absolutely solid stuff, an enjoyable watch

edit* I say if you don't have a good taste in movies because if you havent seen it or ever wanted to see it then your movie taste might be lacking
Holy **** you're pretentious.

It did get cancelled and it was out of the blue. Also I'm not sure how Netflix shows them but fox aired them out of order, partially because they wanted it to fail/hated joss whedon.

Despite the douchiness of the OP it is a great movie. I can see where it would get lost on people under 30 though who have no idea what the world was like before the internet or cell phones.

I'm actually 30 years old though. Had no interest in it back then, don't now. I think I'll watch 12 angry men tonight and then my usual family guy marathoning until I fall asleep.

I will second (or third?) this recommendation. Almost Famous is really a fantastic movie.

almost famous is a shoo-in for my top-50 movies of all time, and it could possibly squeeze in to the top-20 list.

I watched the first two seasons. Your struggle to suspend belief will get worse.

This.

Spoiler:
I lost count how many times FBI people have been kidnapped/held hostage and then killed/released/escaped after going off on their own.

So freaking ridiculous.

In other news, the guy who plays Joe is also the Prince in A Knight's Tale

I just watched Kramer vs Kramer for the first time. I really liked it.

If anyone hasn't seen it already, you should totally watch Dustin Hoffman's acceptance speech for his performance at the Oscars.

Started out pretty good, but become pretty blah at the end. Will be watching at least half. And half of that half is just for the campy fun. Ww2, friends, b&r, lol.

Fear and loathing ftw!

Already seen Gladiator many times. Probably only have time for one more. Debating between Manhattan (never seen a Woody Allen film and it is short), Gandhi, and Tombstone.

I literally just watched Manhattan.

It's good and fun, but I'd recommend Tombstone first.

Looking forward to Chef, heard nothing but great things about it
