Just started using the hola unblocker, and it's drastically increased the value of my netflix. I'm a bit of a documentary junkie, and was always disappointed with the selection. Much better now.

Watched Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters - was not that bad actually...this was the one with Jeremy Renner and Famke Janssen (never a bad thing) - not super cheesy and had just enough gore/violence to make it somewhat watchable. 6.1/10 on IMDB seemed about right.

Yeah I am generally not a fan of conspiracy theories, but from a sheer probability standpoint I would not be surprised if Flight 93 was shot down by US fighter jets on 9/11. Sort of surprised how little conspiracy chatter that one gets, given that it's far a more likely scenario than most of the others I am always hearing about. Certainly seems more likely than "the passengers fight back, regain the cockpit, and crash the plane in an isolated area".

Sorry for the OT. Back to Netflix... watched "Safety Not Guaranteed". Enjoyable but could have been better. Dumb ending I thought and the male lead was dull. Aubrey Plaza is cute though.

Watching Gravity (the TV series) before it expires on 1/15. I assume this got canceled at some point because it only shows one season. Not bad, Krysten Ritter makes it worth watching if nothing else.

I thought it was interesting that the lines weren't generally scripted. The director gave the actors a general direction and let them go. Gives the movie a lot more authentic (?) feel to it, acting wise than you'd normally find.

Started to watch a film called "Upstream Color". Seemed to be a critical fave. Very artsy. Turned it off after 20 minutes. Unwatchable.

On the plus side, got to re-watch the pilot ep of Cheers which I had not seen in years. Might be the best sitcom pilot of all time.

the kinect, when I've had someone else over, one of us making any hand movements almost always sent the netflix into instant 128x speed rw or ff. happened the last few days.

No way to get unblocker to work if you have the dvd in the mail option?

I use my parents and theyve had the dvd thing for 10+ years.

Watching Star Trek: The Motion Picture. This may be an unpopular view among Trekkers but I think this is the second best one besides wrath of khan. It's A good story, a little slow in the early going but picks up and has a lot of drama, thematic elements, and adventure.

2 > 1 > 4 > 6 > 3 >>>>>>>>>>>>> 5 FWIW. I also dislike all the next generation movies but they are way better than the Bizarrely unwatchable 5.

I don't think there's any reason it wouldn't work, unless it somehow flags your account to only work in the US.

I haven't noticed it with Netflix, but Pandora likes to deny certain vpns after a while. Try switching to a different vpn by clicking on the icon in the upper left of the chrome window.

I watched this the other night as well. Pretty good movie IMO. Had a different feel then most movies, but I found it pretty enjoyable. Would recommend.
