Don't know how it's the first listed option in "critically acclaimed documentaries".
I found the part on the Indian(?) whores especially troubling. Those girl have absolutley zero chance to not have some of the worst lives on the planet

I enjoyed "safety not guaranteed" quite a bit. 3/4 stars prob. Has the main guy from the league and april from parks and rec. I should know their names but am drawing blanks. It is about a guy who puts out an ad looking for a partner to go back in time with him played by League guy and april is an intern journalist who wants to do a story on him. THINGS HAPPEN

Loved House of Cards. Spacey is an all time fav.

Street Thief - Watched this one on a complete whim and absolutely loved it. My heart was actually racing in certain parts. 5/5

Jiro Dreams of Sushi - Not usually a fan of documentaries like this, but I was in a total trance while watching it. 4/5

Boy Wonder - Not as exciting as I had hoped, but still quite entertaining. A little bit sappy at moments, but I would give it a 3/5

Has anyone noticed what I think is mostly new concerts that were just added recently?

I've watched parts of Korn, Coldplay, Electric Carnival and Deadmau5.....**** sounds wonderful in surround sound and 1080p.

(and now I'll feel like a massive idiot if these have been around for awhile)

It started out with one or MAYBE two funny bits per show. Now it's just obnoxious. I find myself watching it for the cameos...that last all of 10 seconds.

Margin Call is another Spacey movie I hadn't heard of that's worth watching, and Clay Pigeons with Joaquin Phoenix and Vince Vaughn is pretty good.

I hate portlandia. Safety not guaranteed was good, I gave it 4 stars. I watched the 2005 movie of Lassie and thought it was very good and was amazed at how they got the dog to perform for the movie.

Tree's Lounge is a good movie from the '90s written by, directed, and starring Steve Buscemi.

Agree, it's pretty superb, but I tend to like that offbeat "real" type of stuff.

Saw American: The Bill Hicks Story over the weekend. I'm one of those who has never really gotten Bill Hicks - he always seemed a lot more edgy than actually funny - but watched it out of curiosity and thought it was pretty good. Bear in mind it's not particularly hard-hitting since it's mostly interviews of family and friends, but I came away with a much greater appreciation of his work than I had previously.

Things I have watched recently. Will give a brief overveiw of movie and a rating only:

The Game (7.5/10): Its by david fincher so obv you should watch anyways, but a very crazy movie in which a guy gives his brother a birthday gift involving a real life game that he becomes obsessed with.

Jeff, Who Lives at Home(7/10): A good indie style(might actually be indie dont know) movie centering around two brothers, and believe it or not, one of them still lives at home. Good acting, worth the watch.

Safety Not Guaranteed (8/10): I wasnt planning to like this as much as I did. indie movie with Aubrey Plaza, aka girl from parks and Rec. The premise seems silly but is done very well.

Like Water( 7.5/10) A documentary about Anderson Silva the UFC fighter. Not a big UFC fan by watched it on a reco and enjoyed it. Most of it is in portuguese so subtitles warning.

Being John Malkovich (8/10): Crazy movie that I somehow never got around to seeing. Very weird and out there but slowly draws you in. The style could easily put people off. Guy finds a portal that allows people to spend 15 minutes inside the head of actor John Malkovich.

Adventureland (7/10): Despite my hatred of Kristen Stewart I enjoyed this movie. Set in the 80s, very teen clique style to me. The comedy seemed lacking and was more of just a romantic story with some comedic relief at times.

Hopefully this isn't inappropriate to post in the Netflix thread but I have Netflix/Hulu/Amazon instant watcher all on my xbox and I assume at least some others do. Anyway Amazon just added Justified Seasons 1-3 to instant watcher. I am not sure if it is only free for the Prime customers or not, I can't remember. But also since these sites have a ton of overlap with titles I assume this might mean Justified is coming to Netflix soon but I don't know.

It seems like a pretty good show through the first few episodes but I definitely don't get why some people have this in their top 5 shows. The acting from all the guest characters in each episode has been uniformly subpar.

yeah thanks for pointing that out. i think i'll sign up for the 30 day free trial of amazon prime just to stream season 3.
