i don't remember really not buying the shayes thing, it's been a while but wasn't he in a massive squeeze? bleh i forget it almost entirely at this point.

afa s4- i want to see how nasty john goodman was as the lead villain. the show did a great job of showing just how undertapped some of the costars were.
I just started S4(1 episode in) since they had a marathon on DTV and I recorded them all. IDK if I like the case, it doesn't look like a case these attorneys would take, not like the first 3 seasons anyway. People hated S4 so I might just skip it and start with S5 which started a week ago.

Thanks who ever recommend Goon. I loved it and I don't even like hockey.

Also Trailer Park Boys. Watched it recently. It's delightfully white trash. I laugh in side every time I see Julian with his patented cocktail in his hand. Absolutely hilarious.

Yeah, Goon was a surprisingly good movie. SWS's awkwardness was a little hamfisted at times though.

Guess I'm in the minority who thought Goon sucked. Not much substance, Alison Pill is real homely to be a romantic lead, Jay Baruchel was obnoxious, and SWK wasn't much either. The violence was good for what it was.

Dororo has to win the award for worlds smallests subtitles. The movie sounds intresting but I can barely follow the story.

I have to throw "Red Dawn" out there. One of my old school favorites. Patrick Swayze,Charlie Sheen and the legendary C.Thomas Howell fighting off Russian and Cuban forces in America. I just noticed a remake is comming out this November.

i liked the movie for sure......not sure why they wanted sws to play it as though he was a high functioning downy though.

I am glad to see good movies like this get made- budget was probably completely reasonable and it flew somewhat under the radar but it's very decent imo.

For anyone who enjoys documentaries -- The Elephant in the Living Room

Set against the backdrop of a heated national debate, director Michael Webber takes viewers deep inside the controversial subculture of raising the most dangerous animals in the world as common household pets.

Absolutely fascinating and surprisingly emotional. As the synopsis says, it's about people who keep lions, tigers, bears, venomous snakes, etc as pets, and the impact it has on the people, society, the animals. Very cerebral, but if you just like fuzzy things it's good too.

Just watched that one and really enjoyed it.

The sheer availability of some of that **** is astounding

Spoiler:
The electrocution scene was downright awful though. I understand why it was shown, but man did that mess me up emotionally for a bit.

They made it out so bad, not everyone who owns those pets are terrible owners.

Some do provide the space for lions aka a reserve. Some just think its cool and that is the problem.

I did enjoy the documentary though I think it is 7.5/10 and quite interesting.
