felon- was good.
Yeah I stumbled on this one about a week ago, solid watch if you like prison movies. On a related note can anyone recommend a good prison theme movie (instant or dvd)?

Oldboy was pretty good, it's a Korean thriller. Not sure if it's been posted, sorry if it was.

Great, the Deep Throat documentary won't get out of my recently viewed list. How long do these things stay there for?

I assume he knew the owner of the club. Possibly looking for something other than money, or found something in the desk that he didn't expect to see. obviously all speculation since kasper refuses to address that job

Spoiler:
yeah the movie was fake. I watched it before I knew that, but kind of suspected it the entire time. I don't know if that would have affected my enjoyment of the movie or not.

Yeah, I knew it was fake. Had to be a personal vendetta because he went against his MO and was so pissed when all he could find was money. In the moment I thought he was mad about the amount of money he scored, looked like there was just a couple bundles of cash, far less it seemed than what his average take portrayed. But once you get near the end everything comes together to point away from that.

whats wrong with the tudors season 2? (dont spoil it)

I saw the Weeds....season 1 esp.1 .. The writing was very Juno-ish. Too smart for its own good.

haha, I THINK that if you click play and watch 2 seconds of 10 other whatevers it should bump it far enough down where no one you're married to/netflix friends with can see it.

They talked about Oldboy in the "Most Disturbing Moments in Cinema" thread. Interesting movie, definitely worth a watch if it's on Instant Queue. It's a revenge series, I'm not sure in what order. I think the other two have something like "Lady Vengence" in the name.

Though watching in order is not really required, it is the following:
Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance
Oldboy
Sympathy for Lady Vengeance
All of them are very good.

If you don't want your netflix friends to see it, click the friends link at the bottom of the main page, then click movie privacy near the top of the friends page, and you can hide it that way.

If you want to hide it from people with access to your account, I don't think you can (other than watching other movies to push it down the list)

saw this last night, took awhile to get into, probably because of what your first line in the spoiler says. Once it clicked, I liked the rest a lot.

Spoiler:
I thought it was a personal vendetta too and he was looking for something else. He didn't want to rob them and didn't expect to find any money, but once he opened the drawer and saw the money, he kind of had to take it since the camera crew was there. He knew what the consequences could be. But I could be wrong too

I'd recommend "Gunnin' for that #1 spot." Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys directed this documentary on elite high school basketball players and their Elite 24 game in Rucker Park in 2006. Features Michael Beasley, Jerryd Bayless, Brandon Jennings, Tyreke Evans, Kyle Singler, and Kevin Love.

Is anyone else having trouble connecting to the server? I can get onto the site just fine, but when I try to watch anything online, it just tries to connect but nothing happens. I've only had netflix for a couple months, so I dunno if this is common or not.

works great 99% of the time. Only a couple times has it ever stopped to rebuff on me, and I just assume my internet was lagging for some reason.

My playstation is downstairs and my wireless router is upstairs also

This and blueray was the only reason i bought a playstation. I don't even play video games

Whatever problem I had with my watch instantly was resolved after being on the phone with customer service this evening. I still don't know exactly what the issue was, but I spoke with two different people who were both extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. It was also nice that they spoke fluent English (unlike Dell, which has the worst customer service on Earth).

Anyway, I just wanted to share a great experience that I had with Netflix. I highly recommend joining them for anyone even considering it. Great product, great customer service.

The PS3 works great. As long as you have a good connection with your wireless network, you'll be able to stream in HD no problem. Blu-ray access for a couple bucks is also worth it. Overall A+ setup.

Netflix on Wii Consumers - how do you like it so far? I think the UI is great on it, and the speeds are pretty good. However, the SD is only so-so, find it barely watchable (and of course Wii doesn't support HD).

I'm a little dissapointed in the speeds, and yeah, the definition is on the low side (though my TV is SD anyway, so its not like it matters - plus I have a 26 in HD monitor in my room, so watching netflix on that is fairly decent).

River - yeah, the load times can be long. But I haven't had a buffering/playback issue once though (I have watched all of Californication Season 1 and a movie so far). So that's pretty sweet.

no complaints other than the picture quality, which is still very watchable imo

Just watched an old Robert Redford and Faye Dunaway film called "3 Days of the Condor" about a CIA analyst who comes back from lunch to find everyone in his office killed. It was directed by Sydney Pollock and holds up pretty well for a 35 year old spy thriller.
