About a teen who goes on a killing spree in town. Very very graphic and not all that good. Maybe worth watching just how ridiculous it is.

Wow. This one will be tough to forget.
I saw this on a Friday night during the Toronto Film Festival and needed like 2 hours to decompress before going out.

I didn't really like it myself. I didn't get the scope of the movie. It didn't go into the details of the crime from the accused side of view. They both claim they basically knew of the crime but didn't do it but they never explained their side of the story.

From a capital punishment perspective, it didn't do much for me. I am anti death penalty and I could really care less that this dude was about to be killed by the state.

The interviews with friends and families weren't that compelling either. Its pretty bad when one of the more sympathetic people in the film is the murder's dad who is also in prison for his second murder rap. I also didn't see the point of interviewing some of the people they did and the lines of questioning that didn't hit the cutting room floor.

As a pro abortion film, this movie gets the thumbs up though

I am undecided about capital punishment, but I think the movie shows in uniquely Herzogian way that even murderers have some shred of humanity and that there is no compensation appropriate for forcing other people to make a career out of staging even "humane" executions.

I really like The League.

It's done mostly improv too, so they come up with interesting lines on the spot when bantering back/forth.

It was worth watching once if you're into this genre.
I just watched it and thought it was great, I'm surprised I haven't heard more about this movie. Its based on a true story which if they portrayed things accurately just makes the movie that much more interesting, definitely worth watching, imo.

Returned to Netflix Watch Instantly after being unsubscribed for 7 months. I immediately regret my purchase.

The selection of movies seems to have significantly worsened since I was last a subscriber. I browsed through the available titles and it seems to be slim pickings. There is now an abundance of "B" movies and a a lot of low quality foreign films.

It seems like if you're not into; Korean revenge movies, Val Kilmer, WWF wrestlers turned actors, or crappy horror movies. Netflix Watch Instantly probably isn't for you...

It is in my opinion that a solid 80% of the movie available are total junk.

I do think the TV releases have remained similar to what I remembered, probably, even improved.

I should have done some research on the selections through instantwatcher.com before subscribing again.

I've recently watched - The Man Who Wasn't There, which was a solid Coen brothers movie that I hadn't seen before. Thought it was entertaining and I would recommend it. Has a noir type vibe and there is some solid dark comedy too.

Black Donelleys I recently started and it's a decent TV series about an Irish family who get caught up with organized crime. The show was done by Paul Haggis and only got 1 season on network TV a while back. The first episode is really solid, however, the next few episodes seem to have gotten off track. I will probably see this through though and I would recommend it. However, the first episode is lightyears better than the next 4 that I've seen, so I'm sticking around in hope it picks back up.

There's a disclaimer at the end that says the story is 100% fiction.

It's all about perspective Bo. I finally figured out how to get US Netflix instead of the crappy Mexico Netflix Ive had for the last two months, and I could not be happier with the selection.

I wish there was some kind of program that would autopush next episode for me. Having to reach over and click it while grinding gets annoying.

i did severe damage to a relationship with a girl when i started laughing at the end of the movie and i looked over and she was literally crying.

we couldn't have been more on the opposite end of the spectrum of feelings at the close of that film.

Forgot to mention that I watched Human Centipede 2 last week. Ending up being about as bad as I expected it to be. First one was a way better movie for what it was.

I agree with Bo that like 80% of the movies are god awful and unwatchable. However, at 7.99 and taking into account tv shows and documentaries, it's still worth it to me.

Been working through Out of the Wild: Venezuela. Pretty good if you're into survival type shows. Non-experts, no prize so it seems a lot more real. Haven't watched the Alaska one, but that's there as well.

excellent point

I don't get all the complaining, I've got 200 titles in my Instant Queue, most of which I'll probably never get to because I'm adding new ones all the time.
