i melt with you is the worst movie i have ever watched. First like hour of the movie is 4 guys just snorting drugs and talking. No plot just talking high on coke. Then theres like a 30 min Levi commercial of them in their jeans rolling down hills and stripping and running into the ocean. No point. NOtHING IS HAPPENING. just some crappy lightening and random shots of the sun, like an MTV show just random shots to make it look artsy. dumb. theres like 15 min of plot and 2 min of action in a 2 hour movie. dumb dumb dumb do not even waste your time.

lol Levi commercial. spot on. I watched I Melt with You over the weekend. Thought it was OK but not awful. Pretty depressing subject matter, def wouldn't watch it with a chick. Great cast, had potential but the writing fell of towards the end.

Loosely based on the life of the martial arts master who trained Bruce Lee. Possibly the best martial arts choreography I have ever seen in a film. First one deals with how IP Man dealt with the Japanese invasion; second one deals with Hong Kong under British colonial rule and is basically what Rocky IV wishes it was. The guy who plays IP Man, Donnie Yen, is phenomenal to see in action. IP Man is just a badass.

They are kung fu movies. Ip Man was a real guy. He was one of Bruce Lee's early teachers (his first teacher?). You can read the synopsis on netflix.

I recently watched both after noticing how highly rated they were on netflix. I enjoyed both but, unlike SharkTank43, I liked the first movie better...mostly because the British boxer dude was pretty silly in the 2nd movie.

If you at all like kung fu movies they are certainly worth checking out.

I've really been loving the show Archer (currently watching season 2). It's a ridiculously funny animated series about a secret spy agency in NYC.

The main character is played by H. Jon Benjamin and his mother/boss is voiced by Jessica Walter (Arrested Development). The writing is fantastic and the voice acting cast is reaaaaallly ****ing good (lots of people from Arrested Development, Chris Parnell, etc...).

I guess it runs currently on the FX network. If you are a fan of Adult Swim you should love this ****.

Just watched NBT Never Been Thawed. Mockumentary about people who collect frozen tv dinners. Very low budget, with a bunch of actors you have never heard of, but pretty damn funny.

I think its been recommended here before, but I started watching The League and have been burning through episodes.

I noticed it was on the "Like: Archer" list as well.

Archer keeps popping up on my top ten for you list but I am not a fan of animation. Guess I'll have to check it out.

It means that I have never gotten into an animated show and have watched episodes of many. For whatever reason I just don't connect with animated series. I'm also not a fan of olives, cottage cheese, and saffron.

Dunno about this film but I think you should write movie reviews cuz I would definitely read those. So much passion.

Been watching Dollhouse, I think someone here recommended it. 9 episodes in, this show is awesome. Really interesting and some pretty good acting by the dolls imo.

I think most people don't take animated movies seriously because many of them are made to be accessable to/directed at children. People take that a step forward and act like animation cannot tell a story directed at adults.

Lot's of people brush off old movies just because they are old. These people are also missing out on a lot of the value of Watch Instantly.

just watched cocaine cowboys last night. had a couple of questions...

did these guys worry about taxes at all???? it seemed like they were just buying countries and nobody gave a damn.

also, i know that one of the interviewees passed away in december, but as for alot of the people involved in the drug trade, were they able to keep any of that money to lead a comfy life after getting out of prison? most of them only got 5-10 years which is pretty insane.

Spoiler:
i can't believe that black widow chick didn't get a murder sentence and somehow is free today, i wonder if she is still alive in colombia

Halfway through s1 of Stargate Universe and really enjoying it. Sort of like BSG but darker and grittier. And Robert Carlyle is awesome.
