It's not new but I watched Pressure Cooker last night (about inner city Philly kids in a cooking for scholarships competition). 4 stars on Netflix, but my wife and I both thought it was meh. My wife works in an inner city Cleveland school and she thought the kids in the movie had it relatively easy and that the cooking teacher wouldn't get away with the **** she pulled. Also, the teacher, despite her passion/caring/whatever was pretty bad in her interactions with the kids. Before the finals when she got her kids together to pray... Borderline cringeworthy.

1 n 2, are great. 2 has a really strong supporting cast, particularly if you liked the wire
maybe i thought there were too many seasons? maybe they just wrapped their 4th

regardless, season 3 is now up on instant.

Who's Harry Crumb? 3 stars, couldn't be any more slapstick-80's comedy romp than this. I love John Candy in just about everything, and although he was way too dumbed down in this, it was a fun little movie even with all the plotholes and terribad acting. Also I pretty much Shawnee Smith in anything

Brother's Keeper 4 out of 5. Interesting doc about a murder trail involving a group of illiterate brothers living on a farm in New York. The case got a lot of media coverage back in 1990.

i recommend prison break for those who haven't seen it.. season 1 has like 22 episodes and is one of the best seasons of any show i've ever seen. the show does slowly get worse though after season 1

does it end on a spoiler or anything? I've heard season 1 is great but can I watch just that and be satisfied or do i have to go through the suck for a resolution?

Been a while since I watched PB but pretty sure S1 is decent as a standalone, might be some loose ends that can be tied up pretty shortly into S2.

season 1 will be good just by itself, although there is no way u don't watch at least some of season 2 after watching season 1 in full. Also, I would say season 2 is good, just not great. Watching seasons 1 + 2 would probably be my recommendation.. I wouldn't go any further than that though, the show just changes drastically and it's not for the better

s1 is good as standalone. after that, it just keeps going downhill, so quit as soon it stops being enjoyable to you. fwiw I forced myself pretty deep into s3 and regretted it.

Besides season 1 of PB, I also loved whatever season it was where they were all stuck in the scummy ass Mexican prison. Highly entertaining imo

Roof pizza was ****ing incredible.

Season 3 is absolutley amazing, like really really really good. This is comparable to S2 of 24 for me at this point. And people are saying season 4 is BETTER! :-0

I'll lend my voice to the chorus and say that Breaking Bad is simply great entertainment. The GF and i just finished season 3 late last night and had to fight every urge not to call in sick and marathon season 4 on Itunes.

he spoke about this scene on opie n anthony and said that it was a hole in one shot.

drilled it

director wanted to do a second take, he refused, since he "couldn't possibly hit it perfectly again"

What do you mean?

I watched it, and I actually started onto a whole foods type diet before watching it, but as far as I can tell, the science is a bit shoddy. Take a look at the studies for yourself online. While the info is there, the studies don't seem to be backed by a whole lot of reproduction and peer study, so... its questionable at best.

Seriously, Im watching season 1 of Malcolm in the Middle, and Ive seen like 5 different scenes where you can see the crew on the side of the frame. Was the show really done that poorly? I dont ever recall seeing that kinda stuff on TV
