since Im 21 and still go to Parties gave this one 5* :P
+1 to the quality. But I would recommend it even more to people who have for the most part outgrown the "partying" phase of their lives.

also would like to recommend "south of the border"

it's on stream, it's a really solid documentary about the politics and movements in the nations south of north america. if you're at all into learning about politics or some of the political cultures its a great film. i feel it's a bit biased at times but nevertheless very informative and engaging.

yeah, i've seen it. i enjoyed it but actually think its one of the weaker popular mexican films. it sort of played out like more of an action movie to me and i thought the ending was kind of anti-climactic. while we're recommending spanish language movies ill give a shout out to "nine queens" (nueve reinas)

it's an Argentinian film and I think it has one of the best executed endings i've seen in any movie ever. pretty sure you can get the disk but its definitely a stellar movie, probably the best argentine film i've ever seen AINEC.

Mutants is a pretty good French horror movie. Not too much dialogue so the subtitles aren't a big hassle.

Just watched floored, a movie about old school traders getting replaced by computer program trading in the stock market. Figured people here would like it as it's fairly analogous to poker.

I am usually into good shows (The Wire, FNL, early Prison Break, Mad Men, Game of Thrones) in addition to many bad shows (The O.C., Invasion, Real World, Smallville), so I have a pretty hefty range of TV experience.

All I remember was that they had to focus on sports no one cares about, due to legal reasons I imagine. At the end of the first episode I remember the main guy in tears because some old guy was breaking a record in a running event. And he called his son to tell him to turn on the TV and they would talk about it when he got home - was the corniest thing I had ever seen.

Going to check out Party Down via this thread soon.
I remember liking Sports Night a lot when it first aired when I was younger. I rewatched episode 1 and was underwhelmed. The laugh track throws me off given the tone of the show.

I'm willing to throw it out as an anomaly/pilot thing, though.

Some of the few actual historical shows the history channel has actually done in the past few years have just been added.

WW2 in HD and America:the story of US were both good.

Just saw Raging Bull and thought it was okay at best. another reason as to why I hate old movies unless its the select few. No backstory, I could never really get into it. Im not sure if it was hte pacing or lack of real backflow to the story but it just wasn't for me. might get a bit overrated by some

Not netflix, but free and great, Successful Alcoholics:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/0..._n_861985.html

Lizzie Caplan (party down) plays the female lead, and is awesome as usual. Funny/sad, alot of great cameos, totally worth 25 minutes of your time.

No surprise. I have friends that work for netflix that have been convinced for awhile they'll be bought for a few billion by a company looking to cement its place as the first true cloud (wonder who). After that happens a ton of money will change hands, court battles will be fought, and what everyone thought would eventually happen will come to fruition.

The other idea is that they settle in for a ginormous amount of money with a fibre optic internet provider (e.g. fios) that's looking to do massive expansion and would like to put alot of companies out of business.

Edit: I'm referring to the last few paragraphs explaining how traffic will be capped, which is the important part of the linked article.
