Griselda was ok, but treated her like too much of a woman doing her best in a man's world than the psychopathic murderer she was.

Gotta get that misogyny pop culture credit...

I had some thoughts:

Spoiler:
lots of questions they didnt answer though, and didn't even follow up on them
1. Why/how was the ex GF involved

I don't think she was involved. My guess is that Muller had become fixated on the ex-girlfriend for whatever reason and that she was the target for abduction and rape.

2. The FBI agent dated his ex , and no follow up on this either.

It felt like this fact was mentioned solely to explain why the FBI and Vallejo police immediately jumped to the conclusion that Quinn and Huskins were not credible.

3. They said there was more involved but only one guy arrested

I know that Quinn and Huskins thought there was more than one person involved, but I'm guessing that Muller was just trying to make it seem that way. Muller was highly disturbed and doesn't seem like someone who is likely to have been working with accomplices. I listened to a podcast about this abduction. They eventually found videos of the rapes on Muller's computer, as well as a video of Muller installing the video camera in the way that Quinn described. I assume that the videos never captured anyone other than Muller and the victims.

sure i had more questions too but cant remember.

Good show. Really enjoyed it. Wasn’t close to NARCOS level, still good entertainment nevertheless. Last 2 episodes weren’t so good.

Sofia was average. Overacting on many occasions, couldn’t pull off intense scenes like veteran great actors.

The FBI and ex-GF connection is very strange , could just be a coincidence or something very shady going on

Fascinating documentary well worth watching.

Griselda, pretty wild story. I just wish I knew what really happened compared to what was shown. Apparently her one living son has written a book. But how would he know all the facts? But I thought Vergara did a good job showing all the fear, paranoia and insanity that comes when you are the head of a major drug operation.

Feud: Capote Vs The Swans on FX/Hulu Wednesday. It's Ryan Murphy and a bunch of stars, should be good.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith with Donald Glover on Friday

Final season of Curb Your Enthusiasm on Sunday.

Feb. 8th new seasons of Tokyo Vice and Halo, I need to catch up on a few episodes still from season 1's.

Thanks for the reminder. This shows is well rounded. The visuals are great. The performance are awesome. And there are multiple story lines that all get enough treatment to be fully fleshed out and interesting.

I have no idea how he became as successful as he did. The guy isn't funny. Some charisma, but not funny.

yeah i don't get it either, he ruined the daily show for me

worst part of watching that is hearing the audience laugh at him pantomiming action or making bond soundtrack noises, not even jokes nor funny

No strong opinion on his comedy, but his book Born a Crime is very good and funny. He’s led an interesting life.

Trevor Noah is one of the least funny people I’ve ever heard

Agreed. Thought the strikes might kill it, so we were very happy to hear it’s coming back.

Wayne definitely needs a season 2. I think Amazon owns it now.

THATS who bought it… I thought it was Netflix, but yes. Of all cancelled after 1 season shows I want to have a 2nd season, it’s right up there with Terriers.

I don't know why you guys are getting all excited about Wayne season 2, there is no sign it has been renewed and if somehow it was it wouldn't air until next year. But we can always hope.

I'm starting to get that as I progress deeper into the series. For example:

Spoiler:
Really felt for her when she couldn't get herself to behead the sicario.

A lovely little one season show about a poor, down and out kid whose father dies and the car he was supposed to get was “gifted” to someone else and he wants it back. Then goes apeshit and doesn’t let up. It reminded me of the first season of “End of the F*ck*ing World” in a way but really leans into the absurdity and is almost like a comic book without a superhero or fantasy element. It’s hilarious and often quite heartwarming

Wayne is free to watch on YouTube now, it is no longer free on Prime. I believe it was one of the last YouTube originals. 8.4 on IMDb. Just a gem of a show. If you haven’t watched it, you need to.
