Yea almost everyone loved the last episode. I liked the show a lot but thought the last episode sucked.

I watched and enjoyed Candy. Pretty sure I'm not watching the same ****ing story again a year later.

Mrs. Davis is great after 3 eps. It’s batshit, but I like that about it. I’m pretty sure that Betty Gilpin is my favorite actor right now. What she did in Glow was amazing. Simple lines and moments that she took to totally different places.

Watched the first ep of miniseries Love and Death on HBO. Very good. Jesse Plemons is always solid and Elisabeth Olsen is probably going to win an Emmy, she's phenomenal.

I've recently finished Cobra Kai, Squid Game and Beef. I thought all of these were really enjoyable. Just got Netflix (Canada) a few weeks ago, so I'm well behind.

I started two and a half episodes of Stranger Things. It's a bit slow so far, so I'm not sure whether to continue. Other options to consider are Peaky Blinders and Breaking Bad. I was considering Night Agent, but read some negative opinions on it here.

I am surprised at the mediocre reception for Beef. I thought it was really good and I enjoyed it. Ya, the last episode was a bit weird and much different than the first nine, but I still enjoyed the whole ride.

There's no question of what should be next if you've never seen Breaking Bad. It's an all time great.

Does Peaky Blinders actually get better? I really liked the first season, second was okay. Stopped watching after the first episode of season 3.

Not really. Starts awesome and slowly declines until the final season which is bad.

I don’t think I’ve tried harder to watch and like a show more than Peaky Blinders. Maybe Horace and Pete, but for completely different reasons. I have a couple of friends that have it on their short list of all time favorites and I just don’t see how that’s possible lol

I don't get the Peaky Blinders hate... For me it worked better than Boardwalk Empire as a similar prohibition time piece and the only drop off after season 1, was abandoning the Nick Cave theme song . Not an all-time show, of course, but definitely very good and top tier as far as Netflix is concerned, imho.

I never said it was bad or that it sucked. Just wasn’t for me. But I don’t see how it could any lists.

Boardwalk Empire though…. That show had all sorts of **** wrong with it lol

I think it's a good show but nowhere near the elites like Breaking Bad or The Wire.

Never tried Peaky Blinders... tbh the title just sounds super gay or something and I don't like the lead guy.

Boardwalk Empire on the other hand was pretty good. Buscemi was incredible in it - like truly amazing.

Completely opposite feelings about the leads and stories. Buscemi was horrible casting even if he did look like the guy. I could never get past S2E2 of the show.

Peaky Blinders keeps it tight with its storylines and seasons. I love drawn out stuff on HBO if they can pull it off, but Boardwalk did not

Honestly surprised to see "gay" as a pejorative on 2p2 in 2023. Peaky Blinders is just too *** for you? Not even the show, but just the words, Peaky, and, Blinders, are just this much on the side of **** that you don't want to watch the show?

Season 2 and 3 of Stranger Things were pretty rough but season 4 had one of the best moments in TV that year and the season itself was pretty good overall.

I'll probably watch Stranger Things until the end as well as Cobra Kai but both of them could have easily ended after one season and been classics where every subsequent season pretty much got worse for both shows. The most recent season of Cobra Kai was awful. The most recent season of Stranger Things was watchable but still just average overall. Both shows have run their course now though so just give them a reasonable ending and lets get over them.

Mindhunter and American Vandal are good Netflix only shows worth a watch.

ROFLMAO - the title refers to a weapon used the gang of the same name. Outward facing razor blade in the peak of their skelly cap. They'd use them to slice at adversaries' eyeballs in a fight.

wonder how often they'd accidentally slice up their fingers when they forgot they had razor blades in the brim of their caps and went to take them off?
