Travelers -
Hundreds of years in the future, the last surviving humans discover a way of sending consciousness back through time, directly into people in the 21st century -- "travelers," who assume the lives of seemingly random people. They're also secretly working as teams to perform missions in order to save humanity from a terrible future.

8/10
mostly in agreement with this review
they did a great job of making a low budget hard sci fi watchable, mostly due to some very solid character creation and compelling performances. the writing is uneven, but the actors manage to carry the show. the leads are OK, but it's the supporting characters that make this worthwhile. patrick gilmore and jennifer spence steal every scene they are in, both in supporting roles that never seems to have enough screen time. because it's canadian sci fi, amanda tapping does manage to worm her way in as a character at some point, but despite as insufferable as she is, not even she can ruin things.
if you can enjoy time travel stuff without being a nit, it's a fun take. third season does drag a little in the middle, but it's worth finishing.
