So judgemental :/ The confederate flag means southern pride to them. Nothing more. Just like kneeling during the anthem isn't meant to disrespect the flag. It's just a form of protest.

People look at the same thing and see something different. Unfortunately most aren't smart enough to see any other point of view.

The present day number of Hitler supporters in Germany is smaller than in the US. Nobody in Germany is proud of what happened back then and I have a hard time understanding why people in the South don’t feel that way.

To people that are putting graffiti on Confederate statues this is what I propose. Glue a white flag on the hand and have the horse trotting over a confederate flag.

FWIW, the NASCAR truck series is full of pay-to-play drivers like Ray Ciccarelli. Those guys aren’t professional drivers. It’s their hobby and they are willing to spend money to compete. Some of the guys need a decent amount of goodwill to even get the necessary licensing to be allowed to race.

If more guys like him would quit, that might actually be a problem because the teams need that money to operate.
