Usually managers in companies 3-4 times the size of yours know exactly what everyone's role is and when someone is going to be let go (unless it's for some confidential HR-related issue).
Not that this means you're doing anything wrong in your job, it's just unusual for a manager at such a small company to be left in the dark about much of anything.
As is typical in a startup there’s really poorly defined roles. On top of this, basically 0 supervision of anyones **** before I came in. These people were part of a completely different team managed by the other boss for a project that I dont really touch at all. Because it wasnt directly in my realm i didnt ask or make it my business.
