Howard won due to two longshot picks. Did you make either of those?

Here's a fair solution. Howard ended with a total of 10.64 points. You had a deal with him for 1/3 of his profits if you made his picks. But you made some picks and he made some picks, so it needs to be split up. That's easy to do, the amount he should give you is simply 1/3 of (babs picks units won)/10.64. So how many units did your picks win him?

I mean they're obviously not Babs's:
1. They won
2. They were underdogs

In the Beast's furious frenzy to tab me as a cheater, he seems not to realize that he was a willing participant in the deal; so if I am a cheater, he is too. I of course contend that neither of us cheated, as there is no rule whatsoever against colluding in this contest.

After his picks lost and Howard had no chance to win without picking some big underdog winners, babs quit picking. Only after Howard went off on his own and made the picks to win did babs emerge again. Obviously he is due nothing beyond compensation for however many units his picks contributed to the win.

I always try to be completely fair. Tbab is just in the wrong an overwhelming amount of the time.

So the beast agreed to make 6 picks for 1/3 payment, only made 4 picks, but expects to still get paid?

It's completely possible Howard would have gone 0-4 instead of 1-3 during those 4 picks.

I'm not overly familiar with the rules regarding the posting of PMs, so I'm not going to post any of those and risk getting banned until the Beast grants permission for same.

First of all, I was just taking a little break due to stress reasons, I was going to go in and make the "random UFC pick" just as Howard did himself.

The fact that I was forced to take run lines to make up ground and some of them lost is irrelevant. A deal is a deal.

You dont just get someones help and then void the agreement at your own discretion.

My understanding is:

A) the deal was for babs to make the last six picks in exchange for a share of winnings if he came through.
B) when he did not think he had any chance to win, he stopped providing picks or responding to Howard, thus not completing his side of the deal.
C) that deal was thus void, and Howard made the final two picks that took him to potential victory.

No way you can say babs is due money if he did not live up to his side of the deal, which I was told PRIOR TO BABS POSTING ABOUT IT by Howard as being a deal for babs to make the final six picks - one that babs quit on in the middle of the deal. You can't quit in the middle of a deal and expect to get paid, that's ridiculous.

Beast voided the agreement by going radio silent and claiming he was done posting ITT. Whatever agreement he had was voided when he did this, regardless of whether Beast's picks won or lost.

Had he sent Howard the final two picks, he would've been entitled to 1/3 the winnings. He did not do so.

Typical of Beast to renege on an agreement, then to come back in after Howard's picks get him in the lead and demand a share.
