i'm sorry, i shouldn't have been so hard on you. i mean really, your list runs the gamut, all the way from "sad bro anthem by current butt rockers" to "staple gloomy alt-rock tracks from the 90's that lack any real emotional depth" to "radio-friendly introspective ballads by over the hill bands who have also written much better, sadder songs in the past" to "stuff my dad likes that is suprisingly not gay and also sad at the same time," even with a few actual sad and good songs that i assume must have been an accident.

it's enough to make me a little misty, at least until the dj drops some nickelback and i forget all my worries! a veritable cornucopia of minor chords and appropriately masculine admissions of regret!

Any particular reason why you're being a complete tool? Maybe just go ahead and post your suggestions rather than rip somebody else's?
