it's enough to make me a little misty, at least until the dj drops some nickelback and i forget all my worries! a veritable cornucopia of minor chords and appropriately masculine admissions of regret!
Any particular reason why you're being a complete tool? Maybe just go ahead and post your suggestions rather than rip somebody else's?

Meh, don't know if someones already mentioned this one, but Gary Jules' "Mad World" is quite depressing imo.

This deserves more love.

Slipknot - Vermillion Part 2 (don't worry, there's no growling or anything crazy). I can't link to youtube, just search it.

A song written by Tobe Keith for former college and NBA star Wayman Tisdale before his death upon learning he had cancer. After his NBA career he wrote and played some great jazz music.

Here is the song performed by Toby Keith

snow patrol- chasing cars
green day - wake me up when September's gone
blink 182 - adam's song
mad world - donnie darko
Eric Clapton - tears in heaven
Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah

before you flame, different songs make different people sad, depedning on the song, and what was/is going on in your life at the time.
