I dont understand this dynamic where most of the supporters of AOC wants her to be in this highly superficial and objectifying beauty contest that she would have no part of if given the choice.

Winning ms oot doesnt put her closer to the presidency.

oh no, not at all. miss oot is primary a contest of cultural relevance, didn't you know? cultural relevance trumps all other attributes a contestant may have. some butch lady golfer nobody ever heard of beat helga lovekaty one-on-one so throw out any ideas that this is a beauty contest.

Greg, I understand, which is why I said most supporters.

I just feel that for a contest that is 80% appearance and the nominees have no choice in their participation, lets at least limit the candidates to those who trade on their physical exposure.

ScreaminAsian, if your AOC nomination was to protest the amount that cultural relevancy that is considered in this contest, then I am in agreement with you.

Personally, i think your nomination of Alexis Ren last year was perfect and she is a lot more relevant than some of our past winners.
