It's true that she had 11 seconders but none of them could find any pictures where she looked older than 16 that they wouldn't be embarrassed to post - I'm saying that as someone who got stick for voting for Gomez two years ago.
That said, there are some spare places in repechage rounds so we might see Grande and a couple of other highly nominated but pic-lacking contestants make a surprise re-entry in there.
I'm not sure she's going to do that well. This is an electorate that has only once picked a candidate younger than her late 20s.
I also think it's lol that AOC is top seed but I'm trying to run it objectively based on the rules I decided in advance and not change it midstream. IMHO she's drawing dead to beat Miniutti (who's 16th seed) and probably to get out of her group at all depending who gets through the play in rounds. Lahren is drawing dead to even get out the play-in rounds.
The thing that surprised me was that there were only 3 people seeded as returnees from the 2016 Sweet Sixteen, whereas there were 5 people who were losing candidates from 2016 groups - all of which shows there is not much relation between the nominations and how people are actually going to vote.

It doesn't work on the principle that you post names and I go and find photos of the girl in question.
Hailee Steinfeld is one photo short if people want her in, though she might be a stronger nominee next year when she's a year older.
