Shocker that Bob would think expanding the electorate is a bad thing.

You are welcome to come vote in our polls anytime.

It's like I don't exist there.

I need to start responding to Trump trolls so I stand out more on Pol.

I'm guessing this the last year that Ms. OOT runs. If not, it needs to be.
If this is really true, it says a lot more about you than about the contestants.

- Margot Robbie is one of the biggest actresses in Hollywood, and was nominated for Best Actress Oscar in 2018

- Rachel Brosnahan is the reigning best actress Emmy winner, and won her second consecutive best actress Golden Globe last night

- Emilia Clarke plays what is probably the single most iconic female television character of the decade

- Camila Cabello has one of the biggest hit albums, singles, and music videos of the year

That said, I would agree that this may be the last year of Ms. OOT, as it appears to have been overrun by trolls.

I completely support AOC's politics, but the current results are just not in keeping with the spirit of the contest, and if we are allowing actual political ideology to be injected into it, it is not worth running.

Regarding 1) - well obviously but so would the celebrity death pool and plenty of the other things in OOT. That's part of the unique charm of OOT.

2) Part of the fun.

What do you mean by 3) ? Do you just mean the bit about lack of fresh new candidates?

I think there is some truth in that - witness the heavy voting for Liza Soberano. If she goes far it will be quite a bit of foresight by OOT.

I used to be pretty well involved in politics IRL but I can't imagine needing to whip myself into a state of hate like they do, just to get things done. They need to tell themselves that OOT is full of aspies and autists and MAGA-tards to make them feel ok - all three being bad apparently.

My view is they are jealous we have a freedom here they don't have and they want to take it away from us.

I'm not going to post anything, except competition related stuff, for the next few days but post ITT if people feel we should let this play out or we should do something about it (if so what).

One thing I will say is that AOC is a valid candidate and there are plenty of people who are regular participants who enjoy this competition in the right spirit who are voting for her so I'm not just removing her as a candidate.

BREAKING: Lektor considering declaring a state of emergency to amend the Ms OOT Constitution mid-election as AOC votes continue to mount.

Jealous of a freedom they don't have, but one that is literally a click away without having to change domains or logins? Wtf?

Your name is too generic. Try superuberdeluxeoneofakindBob?

Jman’s post is probably in mildly bad form, but whatever. It’s definitely not something to fight about. It’s much more fun to debate about pointy elbows or about how accessible Kate Upton is.

Mexican weather girl got knocked out pretty early 2 years ago, back when she was first internet famous, so her best chance is probably Ms OOT 2025 where her main competition will be a 45-year-old Kristen Bell.

Lol “aspies” and “autists” is not generally something we would allow in politics because making fun of people with disabilities is frowned on. I guess those are terms used here?

We mostly use the n-word in OOT to insult people

Voters attempting to reconcile Ms. OOT with the PC zeitgeist should be banned imo.

Neo-liberal

Also there is something truly beautiful about these lefties thinking they are coming here to troll rightwing magas and make them angry.... And the only people they are actually angering are the people who take miss oot way too seriously and can't believe their favourite attainable tv star is gonna get rolled.

It's like watching a poetic masterpiece play out in real time

Yeah, the "go vote to get the maga people upset" is pretty funny.
01-07-2019 , 05:52 PM
People are voting for AOC out of love for her, not hatred toward OOT or the contest. It’s not a conspiracy. No one’s out to get you. Just close your eyes and think of England and it’ll be over soon enough.
