No Halsey!?

Chess: repechage is a second-chance contest, and she certainly deserves a second chance to be considered. Not Emily’s fault she was overlooked in noms. With A Quiet Place and Mary Poppins, plus an upcoming movie with The Rock, she’s as relevant as can be. Not even giving her a chance would be super racist.

Rapini: sigh, gotta pick my battles!

Howard,
Gregorio was kind enough to provide a great example of a post that would cost you money:

That precise thought occurred to me, and the cynic in me thinks gregorio posted that to bait me into responding on the merits. I decline.

Well, gregorio was simply replying to and correcting a poster who had already injected politics into the discussion, so according to El Diablo, it's fine if you reply politically and respond to gregorio endlessly!

insisting that there's a loophole allowing one party to completely ignore the spirit of the agreement is why lawyers get paid the big bucks

Can we please merge this thread with the bad posting thread thing.

Thanks.

Chopstick proposed over dinner that anyone who has posted in a politics thread in the last year should be banned from voting in Ms. OOT.

This gives me a sad.
01-15-2019 , 10:42 PM
Id just say if they had more politics posts than oot posts.

A single politics post strikes me as a bit of an overreach, but yes, I like the idea of some disqualifying ratio between politics posts and OOT posts. But I’m not running the contest and my opinion doesn’t matter.

LektorAJ is running the competition. He made a terrible decision and disenfranchised hundreds of OOT regs. However, he has indicated that he may return to sanity and restore the usual and historical eligibility rules from the beginning of the competition.

He was offered help to do so, but he hasn't posted itt since then.

If sanity does return, then you should be eligible. You should just go ahead and vote, and your vote should indeed be counted, although you may need to check back in here, and add your voice, to see if craziness or sanity is winning.

What are the new criteria then?
