My understanding was that this was a Howard doesn’t post politics in OOT freeroll. However, without mutual agreement by you and Howard re: the ruling/interpretation criteria, judges must go by a literal interpretation of the stated terms of the agreement.

As I pointed out in my earlier post, that interpretation allows Howard essentially unlimited politics posting ability as long as someone else makes a mention of politics first.

I like the approach recommended by jman220 here: simple and effective. There is a small chance that politics posters might vote for someone other than AOC, but I think it is small enough to disregard.

Obviously Lektor can do whatever the hell he wants with his contest, but I can also laugh at his ham fisted attempts to control things resulting in multiple failures and repeated changes after the fact. At some point you gotta just take the L, roll with things as written, and learn your lesson for next time.

People on the far left cringe at the thought of legitimizing a colonialist, capitalist, and anti-democratic government like exists in the US by even voting (though they may now do so begrudgingly in order to fight the rise of fascist candidates like Trump). They certainly do not choose to govern as part of such a system, even to work to change it like AOC is doing. She is only far to the left relative to the US's ideological center, which is pretty far the the right. She is not close to being as left as they come, and most people I know are to the left of her.

I want to thank everyone for their contribution to this long overdue OOT drama, the politards for coming over from their sub forum, the OOTians for taking non polarized positions, it feels like one of those fun family guy cross over episodes. I felt this ty was in place even though we're probably only half way Ms OOT/times the rules will change.

A running tally of poliguys banned would be a nice addition as a way of keeping track of our martyrs. We've all worked hard to make sure this will be the Ms OOT we will never forget, I suggest having a beer to enjoy the fruits of our labor for a while so we can continue with renewed spirit. Also thanks to prana for mentioning that Im a pedo, for me personally OOT drama is never complete without this claim popping up.

I asked my boss, a very successful capitalist in his early 30s, who purposefully does not follow American politics, if he knew who AOC is because I wanted to show him the "new party who dis" tweet.
