The idea of judging a politician based on their looks just feels icky. I have no desire participate in such a competition, or indeed any discussion of whether a politician is hot or not.

I like AOC and think she is doing very important work. Voting for her in something so trivial and superficial seems disrespectful.
I really don't think this is true. Like I don't think pop stars whose target audience is women under 25 care, or even think about, how they look in the eyes of a bunch of 35+ year old dudes. I bet they think this is just as creepy as any politician would. I also think they'd take "merely meant to provide us with entertainment" as a huge insult.

Legitimately crying from laughter imagining that phone call

And I like Anna Kendrick.

I think her voters might have been accused of trolling as well.

I was a big Kendrick supporter, but I for one didn’t do any trolling. She’s smart and funny and would be a blast to be around.

But OOT had huge crushes on Lyla Garrity, Annie Edison and, I guess, Sloan.
Wait, what?

Right, I didn't mean that her voters were actually trolling. I meant that her voters were supporting her for additional reasons beyond solely looks, and I think I remember that they might have been accused of trolling due to that, even though that is a valid reason to vote for someone.

You've missed my point.

There are a bunch of angry people trying to stop her. They are trying to stop her because they can't believe their 'hot' girl contest is being hijacked by someone who isn't conventionally hot. It just has nothing to do with politics.

But if Anna Kendrick was winning, would they threaten to call her office? 😂

I’m with you. What I mildly object to this year is the express request for posters in other forums to come here and support a candidate for overtly political reasons. It’s within the rules, so my complaint about jman was simply that it is a mild breach of etiquette and nothing more.

ACO is definitely attractive, although she is no Doutzen Kroes. And I for one don’t think ACO’s entry is a hijack.

I actually agree with this, I'd have here in the top 50% of overall miss oot entries for sure.

She just doesn't meet the usual criteria for going the distance in this sort of comp

Why do the ones with the bigger knockers almost always win?

You are 100% wrong in thinking this is politically motivated.
01-08-2019 , 06:27 PM
Obviously, I don’t know jman’s motivation. Happy to hear alternative theories.

Oh yeah - a statistical analysis could be done based on how you politard voters voted in other rounds to prove otherwise.

If you’re going to vote here: https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/3...ortez-1732714/ Make sure you do it out of love for AOC, not to lick conservative tears because, again, these guys totally don’t care at all and actually think the whole thing is hysterical and aren’t in any way triggered by AOC winning, just ask them.
01-08-2019 , 07:51 PM
And with that I will be banning politics posters in OOT LIBERALLY.
01-08-2019 , 07:59 PM
27,
Do the right thing and tow this entire contest over to politics
01-08-2019 , 08:11 PM
That, and just closing it altogether are both options.
01-08-2019 , 08:25 PM
Hey guys, is this the thread for politics posting?
