If we're talking about the rules for next year, I'd go for pretty lax criteria - i.e. let lurkers vote too, with an anti-brigadering exception that if there is evidence of people recruiting votes in other subforums then voters thus far unseen that year are not counted in that vote. It's obviously up to whoever wants to run it next year though.

The oldest rule is organiser's discretion. The rules you state didn't do anything to stop brigadering so it's impossible to use them to run a historical-style Ms. OOT. Too many people jealous their subforums don't have Ms. competitions.

People who didn't make the cut as judges for the E8 onwards due to lack of involvement/commitment in Ms. OOT 2018 will be added to the list if they have 20 posts or more in OOT between 1 Jan 2018 and 29 Nov 2018 (i.e. sufficient commitment/involvement in OOT as a whole) and suddenly want to get involved at this late stage.

Just vote and I'll add you to the list.

You are terrible at this. You just need one rule: Anyone who voted for the loud brown lady with the opinions is disqualified, everyone else can vote. How do you keep making rule changes and yet still fail to prevent AOC from winning?

im just sick of people whos whole lives revolve around political discussion and who jam it into everything they possibly can. i get it, your side is great, and everyone else is a moron. can we talk about random broads and post some gifs without all the bat**** banter? the fact that "voter suppression" is even used in a non-joking manner in a mss oot thread is insane to me. why did everyone **** up this silly and pointless contest so badly?

As one of Lektor's most vocal critics, I can say that I think he honestly is okay with it if OOT decides that is the case. The problem is that he doesn't appear to understand what OOT is, and his actions are stopping OOT posters from voting.

This doesn't address my point. Are you saying that if some legit OOT posters wish to vote, but saw Lektor's OP's telling them they couldn't, and they didn't want to raise a fuss about it - then it is correct that they shouldn't be allowed to vote?

This is not a hypothetical. I have firsthand information of knowing that is the case for some OOT posters.
