Ms. OOT 2018 Discussion thread. Ms. OOT 2018 Discussion thread.

Meh. I say people should just let it be.

Nobody's getting hurt in Ms. OOT. It's not like an actual beauty pageant. It's just a small group of people evaluating how people look in pictures.

2+2 celebrity death pool means just as much as this.

While the trolling is effective, it's also sort of lame because of how meaningless it is to everybody aside from the handful of people involved.

r/Chapo Trap House brigading is way funnier. I find the requests made for dick pics by CTH trolls to be weird but also funny for some reason. Kind of creeps out deplorables I guess.

Hmm...

I mean, yeah, who really cares, but sheesh.

Also, and this bears repeating... there just aren’t that many politics regs. OOT’ers are voting for AOC, because she’s awesome.

Out of your 11500 or so posts, how many would be in OOT and how many in politics?

I think in the end my issue isn't with AOC, but with the notion of political figures being in the competition.

Judging an actress or model or pop star on their appearance feels OK me because those people have deliberately chosen a profession where they know they will be evaluated on their appearance, and a profession merely meant to provide us with entertainment.

The idea of judging a politician based on their looks just feels icky. I have no desire participate in such a competition, or indeed any discussion of whether a politician is hot or not.

I like AOC and think she is doing very important work. Voting for her in something so trivial and superficial seems disrespectful.

He posted in OOT a decade ago, so he has the right to solicit trolling. Or something.

WTF, politicians play on their looks just like everyone else. Look at the analysis of JFK v Nixon for an example of that.

Politicians at the national level have deliberately chosen a profession at which they will be judged for everything they have done, are, are doing, or will do.

Not everyone can egg on the bay area beast with endless accusations and trolling for days on end. Post recipes? Useless posts like the spammers? Not being perm-banned in that time instead of being on a 4th account should count for something in itself imo.

Trump is definitely hot.

I mean look at the women who sleep with him. He'd have to be hot? Right?

these politics posts are out of hand. just vote aoc if you like her, no big deal. and i have nothing to do with politics on either side, believe me. so just accept my unbiased decision because, again, i have nothing to do with the politics forum or politics.

and I'm OOT OG, believe me. my uncle, the great david sklansky himself, great visionary thinker, wharton, he taught me about logic and staying out of politics, and a lot of other things which are very important --my numerous personal successes, beautiful women and boats, boats so big it'll make your head spin, these boats, yachts they call them now, in fact i actually came up with the term "yacht" just the other day while i was hobnobbing with celebrities on my boat

open one sweet16 to find a chick who is a 5 on a good day and then open the other to find an actual 3.5. wtf is going on here.

Whenever there's a likeable contestant, Ms OOT has been as much popularity as beauty contest . Usually it's the likeability-factor of a character on a popular TV show; in this case it's the likability of the actual person. Minka Kelly, and Alison Brie both won when they were debatably not even the hottest characters on their show. Emmanuelle Chriqui was definitely not the hottest woman to appear on Entourage. But OOT had huge crushes on Lyla Garrity, Annie Edison and, I guess, Sloan.

It's like watching a poetic masterpiece play out in real time
But the thing is if she was hot I wouldn't care and I'd be voting for her but she isn't.

THIS.

This controversy is much more entertaining than the "is a burger a sandwich" debate of 2018.

Yeah if it weren’t for AOC running away with the whole thing, this contest would be an unmitigated disaster.

If she was a Republican and looked exactly the same, you would be voting for her.

Bundy you should probably start a thread in ATF about this outrage.
01-07-2019 , 11:13 PM
I concur. You should also definitely mention your plans to report 2+2 to the AOC offices.
