Ms. OOT 2017 is underway! We've completed the nominations, and are in the midst of our four play-in rounds. The Instagram Model Play-In Round and Ms. Attainability Play-In Round #1 are up and running.

The play-in rounds will finish next week and then the main contest will begin. We'll start off with 32 contestants, divided into eight groups of four. Two women will advance from each group and then battle it out head-to-head in a 16-woman bracket.

Greg, you'll be spreading out the Ms. Attainability candidates, no more than one per group, right?

Because if two of them were in the same group, the other two legit candidates would probably get near automatic entries to move on up out of the group stage.

Contestants will be grouped based on a proprietary model that incorporates Elo ratings, Markov chains and Pythagorean rustling expectation.
