I had a banana earlier, but now I'm kinda hungry again. May be time for this apple. Gotta watch the calories though, tonight is dart league night, and there will be probably 4-5 Corona Lights, and some kind of fried food.

I'm starting to think a "quit drinking" prop bet may be more beneficial to me than a weight loss bet.

We could start a third headsup battle, maybe? Or anyone else for that matter?

Both quitting? Or just me? Though you don't really drink much. Well, unless I'm around I guess.

Depends on the day.

I do IF (intermittent fasting), so there are days where I don't eat, or eat very little. If it's one of those days, usually all I'll eat (if anything) is fruit, maybe some yogurt.

On a food day, I still rarely eat three meals a day - since I started doing IF a couple of years ago, I think my stomach has shrunk a little and three meals is just too much food. In addition, I find one or two larger meals more mentally satisfying than more frequent but much smaller meals. I'll often just opt for one large meal, like today - I knew I'd be seeing my boyfriend and we'd go out to dinner, so I just had a nectarine when I got up. Dinner was hummus with veggies, chicken, and mashed potatoes. I rarely eat out by myself, though, so a lot of full eat days I'll either make one "large" meal, like steak or chicken or pizza or whatever, or eat two smaller meals of like sandwich and fruit. I live alone so honestly my food variety can be somewhat limited. I've been known to eat the same thing for a couple of weeks at a time (fruit, ham and cheese sandwiches, something like baby carrots or string cheese as snacks).

On a "food" day I'm still looking to keep my total calories within a specific range. That range depends on how many fast days I'm doing that week or how complacent or not I've been recently with my food intake. I'll be pretty rigid this week, for example, because I was more complacent while I was dealing with switching from day shift to a night time schedule.

Yesterday was under 1400 calories, today a bit lower, and tomorrow will be a fast day (total fast).

I don't really have a diet plan or anything like that. I eat whatever I'm in the mood to eat and/or motivated enough to get off the couch and prepare. I really don't eat enough vegetables (I do eat a lot of fruit, though) or protein but nor do I eat very much "junk" food. I tend to just stick to what I like and is simple to make (hence sandwiches, which comprise about 30-40% of my diet).

Just curious, do you have a secondary goal you're going to shoot for when you get there, or will you just try to stay at 195?

I'm getting ready to start back with the weights. Looking to, like everyone else, add muscle while continuing to lose fat. No set goal as far as my weight goes. Just whatever has me feeling and looking my best, but probably around the 200 number is where I'd like to stay. That 200 pounds just need to be distributed a lot different than it is now.

As long as you're 196 on November 15th.

I'm impressed with your speed getting to goal but as I've always found maintenance harder than losing I'm curious to see what happens once you hit 195 a month early and have to stay there for another two months.

Since my scale has tenths and yours doesn't, do I need to be 195.8 to be good, or 195.0

*shrug*

Probably 195.5, a scale without 10ths should still round up or down. Maybe I'll have one with 10ths by then, but I'm cheap and don't want to buy a new one when mine works perfectly fine.

Mine goes in .2 increments haha. 195.4 it is. Not that it's gonna matter. I'll probably have 195 hit within the next couple weeks, then the easy part starts.

I was thinking you'll be there in two weeks, yeah.

Honestly you could maintain at 200 for a couple of weeks and still crush 195 by mid October.

Once I hit 195 and guarantee I can't lose more than half the bet, I'll probably fluctuate between 195-200 till the deadline approaches.

Something's odd about that picture. Is it -

a) you have really tiny feet
b) you have a really long scale
c) your feet are hanging off the back end

Also, on the pjs!
