You can take the Alobar out of the prison but you can't take the prison out of the Alobar.

There is no justice in the world, not unless we make it.

OP I can almost guarantee you that there is no correlation between the two issues.

You are making excuses. You car is probably old enough to be dumped in the first place. You spent $2k on fixing the transmission, why?

Your car wasn't ****ed up from driving in 4WD for the minimal amount of time from the fix. It sucks cause it's a lol Chevy. An absolute POS. Like yes, driving in 4WD might be unnecessary strain, but your transmission should last for the few miles or less it was driven.

Yeah, this is the only thing that remotely makes sense.

OP, the mechanic is in no way responsible. Like, at all. Ever.

My girlfriend just learned to drive.

Incident one. Warning beep from the dash as she's driving "oh i wonder what that is.... never mind"

Incident 2. Sets off driving. Transmission and engine sounds strange... just keeps going...

OP. You dont need to be a car expert, but if something seems different on your car, you stop driving until you figure out what it is.
