Little Debbie vs. Hostess? Hostess reminds me of a BDSM lady dressed in black, forcing you to eat cake with a bullwhip! That's like saying, do you want Little Debbie or death? The title "Little Debbie" was a powerful, standalone, fist raised to the sky, voice hollered to the unenlightened masses, "I want my sugar!"
i member, first time i saw the video though, no cable where i grew up and before satellite was a thing
It's ironic that's your anecdote bc I'd just read this:
Quote:
Music video
The song's stop motion claymation music video received regular rotation on MTV, and in 1993 it was certified gold by the RIAA. "Three Little Pigs" was notable for being the first known music single to debut only in video form; when the music video was first shown on MTV, fans could buy the song on videotape, but not on CD. In 1993, however, the single was finally released in CD form.
oh everything arrived where i lived on a much slower time scale, i remember being introduced to that song at same time as ace of base, which seems to also have come out in 1993, so i'm legit guessing 1994 was soonest i heard of this
distinctly remember how going to summer camp introduced me to all this music i've never heard of before and sure enough it would get "discovered" in my school about halfway through the year many month later
