The four of us are having a cocktail contest tomorrow evening. Each of us has to make a round of cocktails for all four of us and then we try to determine a winner.

I'm going to make flaming B52s. I've practiced making them in secret and the only tricky part is pouring the cointreau very very slowly so it stays in a separate layer.

I don't know if this belongs in the egg thead, or the covid thread, or where exactly; but I gotta tell ya, a seared pork chop accompanied by an apple side just doesn't get enough respect. Blue cheese is also great on there.

Breaded pork chops are maybe the most underrated. It's a relatively inexpensive cut for so much flavor.

Pork loin shot up my ratings tier recently after digging into a random Omaha Steaks kit I'd forgotten about. Added some honey on my own accord...it's as good as any meat when done right.
