Tweaky body language and asking if I can decline a search and record with my phone doesn’t give them the right to snatch my phone, aggressively put me in cuffs, throw me to the brick wall and cement, and arrest me. And I shouldn’t have been locked up for it., certainly not 11 months.

It's tough to expect anyone to sympathize with you, when you take every single inquiry about the incident as an attack. 27 seems genuinely curious in his line of questioning.

But I thought your post before that was mocking me and was implying if I’d just acted normal I wouldn’t have been arrested, but maybe I misread your intent.

I made bail within a half hour of the arrest. I chose to represent myself at trial, a psych evaluation was ordered, and the dr who did the eval found me not competent to stand trial and suggested me sent to this max security facility for the criminally insane over 2 months later and the judge concurred.

I’m nothing if not an objective grader. 0/7 TDE.

I got pretty tough and savage after being there and talked a lot of sht to some of the toughest guys there fwiw. Having your freedom taken away changes a person.

That post was my take on the entire deal, and the cop summed it up pretty well. That was a you problem. You can't function in society like that.


Again, this is also a you problem. The nut low public defender would have done better than you. A man who defends himself in court has a fool for a lawyer, or something like that.

Can you expand on this? Because I'm having a hard time picturing it, myself. I mean, at the DMV I interact with zero people that aren't employees, so I'm limited on personal experience on this type of thing..

You don’t think the cops did anything wrong? Like failing to use their words and keep their hands to themselves and being hostile to me when I was accurately saying I was the victim? And the cop giving me permission to record on my cell and changing his mind without telling me cause he was mad I used the word “assault” about something he didn’t witness?

There was nothing at stake if I got found guilty except probation and I coulda done perfectly fine.

I guess I can manage my expectations for any lawsuit hopes after everyone’s reaction.

6 months probation. I decided to plead not guilty because I felt I was innocent of the crime and wanted the challenge and story of acting as my own attorney.

Theory meeting reality is you thinking it should go one way, but it goes the other. Bc you'd never been arrested before, this should have been a wake up call but your replies to 27 and Tuma show you're still in the theory stage. (Probably bc you have a hard time understanding other people and their motivations.)

Case in point, "Steven" is bc the cop kept calling you "Spielberg" bc of your preoccupation with recording everything. Life isn't a movie, you're not the star and everyone's not out to get you. You create drama out of nothing bc life is boring and mundane.
