I don't know I'm not her. He was 18 and graduated and she was 15 and in HS when they got together. She didn't know any better. We've gone over this but it came across as me being a pompous douche. The guy was my college roommate, we lived together for over a decade, if there was hanging out to be done it was always the 4 of us(me, gf, him, and his wife) he got me my start in the mortgage business and helped get me my first bank job. I had a friend from a very well off family who was exactly like that but he never ever *** married women or those who were in relationships. Normally those from well off families are taught manners and morals (at least here).

To be fair: I really don´t know how it is over there. But here you pretty much see at the first glance who comes from which social class (REALLY!). Thus, at least here in Germany you immediately can tell the social background of a person. IIRC you live in Germany but are originally from Hungary. Some of the kids of the East (or Central if you insist) European newly rich would be a good example of what people are talking about when they say "spoiled".

It often tends to go that way in other countries too; someone whose parents were poor but gave them everything they could, doesn't get to see parents ever saying no just for the own good of the kids, and goes over the top when they get money themselves. It sometimes takes a couple of generations for the right balance to be found (e.g. I'm stricter on my kids than my parents were on me), or sometimes the first generation just gets it right immediately.
