Sounds like you found the right person.

My point was she was 21. Making lifelong decisions at that age isn't optimal, just in my opinion. I don't know the divorce rates of those who marry at 21, but I think I heard that over all it's a 50/50 coin flip.

Like I said, that's regardless of her morality.

Some interesting stats here
Quote:
We always hear that “50% of marriages end in divorce.” That’s a somewhat mythical figure, and in reality, divorce rates have been estimated as landing closer to 30 or 40%. But for people within certain age ranges, the famous 50% statistic is actually low. To quote the National Center for Health Statistics, 60 percent of marriages for couples between the ages of 20 and 25 end in divorce.

Urm...26...divorced twice now, cheated on her first husband with you, then cheated on you with your best friend. Wow, "respect" (....[x] NOT)

You want an advice? I tell you what:

Be glad that you got rid of someone like that!

People are telling you that you are better off without your ex but I'm thinking that maybe you should be more fixated on how your best friend seems to have betrayed you. And maybe you are and that's what is really bothering you, but you just don't realize it.

You should decide if you want to punish him if he is guilty. If so, then you should find out if it is true. If it is true, you should wreck his marriage and his life.

I think he doesn´t see what kind of person this woman is. I think he lives in a great big illusion. He´s blinded.

She dumped him while he was recovering from a brain tumor. Cheating is irrelevant imo.

Everyone involved including OP are people you generally want to avoid.

Betagainst, the LV bartender/drunk with an OOT thread is a good example of the scumbag I am referring to. Just a POS imo.
Yes, im glad im not the only one who feels that way. I stopped reading that thread because i got sick of everyone chewing his balls. The guy is an enormous douche.

+1. Obv nice body but the face makes all the difference in regards to ridiculous hotness imo.

I just cannot respect them. I can have a nice talk with them, I can be polite to them but I do not respect such people.

The OP I don´t know. To me personally he seems very naive and immature ("My d*ck is bigger and nicer than his" - such statements I expect from a 18 year old but not from a 37 year old. SORRY!).

OP seems like he's implying that it was okay to cheat on the first ex-husband because he was overweight. He's done it in several posts now.

..not only because of the overweight, but also because her first husband has a small and uncircumcised "package" So, no problem, everything okay with cheating!

Yep! Very mature statements of a grown-up person (.....[x] NOT!)

KINDERGARTEN!

He´s also assuming that a good marriage is all about beeing hot, having a nice d*ck and doing nice things in the office, in the forest, in the car...or wherever...

Well, that´s what is called a love affair.

It indeed is an important part of marriage, but not the only one! Good marriage and real love is SO MUCH more than that.

Yeah but in her defense all that driving him around everywhere was a huge turn-off.

My only honest words of advice for OP is, have you had your testosterone checked? Crying all the time for little or no reason can be a result of your t-levels being messed up. It could also just be depression of course, but it is worth getting it checked out.

I don't blame you for cheating with her, she was hot and her constant talk about what a POS her husband was, probably made you rationalize in your mind that it was OK. I'm sure in hindsight you realize it was wrong but people have done worse things when they are infatuated.

Grunching but this seems like it clearly goes in the category of OP is a horrible person and an idiot and got what he deserved. (the divorce not the cancer)

Seems like you knew she's a cheater. You should have banged her and then dropped her cause I bet she'll do this again. She's of the opinion, when the going gets tough, the tough gets going.

I don't see how this is even a question.

You were a bastard as has been pointed out. Your ex and your best friend suck also. It's over. Never see either of them again if you can help it and don't sleep with married people in the future, even if they are hot.

The tumor thing sucks.

I would put it this way: It was absolutely clear and predictable what happens. He marries a woman who already cheated on her first husband. Someone perfectly pointed it out: Once a cheater, always a cheater.

He heard how she spoke about her former husband and cheated on him. So, what did he expect? It´s a question of personality. But he found excuses for her terrible behaviour and sl*tty attitute: the "fat husband" with the "small package". But HE is different, so SHE must be different to him. Wrong! Once a sl*t always a sl*t (male or female)!

That´s what he didn´t want to see. And that´s naive.

I would have dumped right away any divorced man (I´m female) who already had cheated on his wife! Because: He cheated on her, so he´s gonna cheat on me. NO THANK YOU!

It's normal for a man to want a bit of fun with different women including those you maybe shouldn't be with for some reason, but just know that it's not going to be forever and don't marry them ffs.

It's well possible that your friend held off on acting on their mutual attraction until after you and the ex were already separated or divorced.

In any case, now move on.

I'm an incredibly old soul, and often don't know what is considered normal life-learning stages are. Is it normal for a 30-something to not realize cheaters cheat on them too? Going all-in so quickly seems a little fast-paced, and this is coming from a guy who once moved in with a girl after meeting her once (I was in my 20s, so forgive me).

This has been somewhat cathartic. Thanks 2+2.

Confirmed bad person of course to a certain extent but I will say this. I could have told this story from a different perspective. I was pretty honest about things that I could have easily left out and many of your responses were equally honest. I expected nothing less.

I could have taken a different approach to the OP and just highlighted the fact that I met a cool girl and married her and she left me 4 months later after I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had surgery-There would have been 5-She sucks you are better off- replies, followed by 10 pics or gtfo, and the thread would have been over.
